I thought the fan casing also served as a shield in case of blade loss, wonder how they are going to mitigate that risk?

Your video has some inaccuracies. The GE90x is not the most powerful jet engine of the world, it is 10% less powerful than its predecessor GE90-115.

In space, there is no weight, but in atmosphere, there is... so space motors designed for SSTO type craft will be utterly massive, and defy all explanation.

And the ships are made of cast steel. Like a tank, or a re-entry capsule... Hopefully.

I tested a plasma jet one time inside a decommissioned nuclear submarine... and although alarms began to blare, and the heat permeated the superstructure... it was a successful test, and everyone survived.

Compared to the development and testing of the V2 rocket, which probably injured a lot of scientists.

The fan diameter is 11 ft 2 inches, not roughly 13 feet. Do your research.
