I rented a house from those people. My son and I only stayed 3 days. They are horrible people.
ОтветитьBeen a few years since we stayed up at McPhee Reservoir, it was good to see the area around it again. Love your videos, but wish ya didn't have to have a commercial in the middle of them. I understand how things work to make good videos, but wish ya didn't have to have the blurb in the middle of it. Regardless, thanks for the video.
ОтветитьWow what a great find Marc.Beautiful!!!
ОтветитьDolores CO seems like a hidden gem! Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThoroughly enjoyable video of your outing in southwest Colorado. When I saw the teaser a few days ago, and saw the photo, I immediately thought it was the Dolores River. Recognizable since I've been through that area several times over the years. Your shout-out to the farm folks was very worthy of what they have to offer. The Cortez and Rico highlights brought back some good memories of our 2005 visit to that area of Colorado. Itching to get on the road to the west come mid-July. And thanks Marc for helping scratch the itch! Looking forward to your take on Pagosa Springs CO!
Ответить$1000 a night hotel??? It better be good!
Nice camping spot.
We stayed at a place on someone’s property where he installed 14 sites along a grove of trees. While we were there we ran into two hosts who were traveling on to two different campgrounds in the Yellowstone area. One of them told me that they stopped over in Arkansas to help a friend who owned a lot of property and he said they were there to help install campsites on his land.
With the increase in the amount of people camping lately, I wonder if this is going to become more and more popular.
Like the fire road through the trees.
Thanks for sharing Marc.

👍🏼👍🏽
What a great spot to camp. Just think some people pay up to $80 a night to RV. Just dosen't make sense. Thanks Don. I was watching this episode from my boondocking spot in Sonoma, Calif
ОтветитьYou found a great place to visit.
ОтветитьLoved your Dolores video! Can’t wait to see your Pagosa Springs video where my wife and I live.
ОтветитьYou're liven the dream . Great video .
ОтветитьWe were anxious to see your video on Dolores. We stayed at that RV spot before and it was wonderful. Fishing was good, hosts were so friendly they made us feel like family and it was soooo relaxing. Thanks for the great video. P.S. the Dolores Country Store has excellent home made pies.
ОтветитьPut this one on the must visit list! Thanks
ОтветитьMarc - I would think that going to sleep to and waking up to the sound of the river passing your campsite is worth $25.00 per day ! Enjoy your travels through southern Colorado. It is our favorite part of the state. We are actually planning to be there later this summer ourselves. Just make sure you soak in the Pagosa Springs hot springs while there. Be safe, my friend.
ОтветитьBeautiful scenery! Nice place for a peaceful holiday weekend.
ОтветитьI’ll have to slow down the next time I go through there. I missed the cider in Delores and Rico altogether. The forest roads must be spectacular in the Autumn.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьWe were just in Colorado for a few days while we headed to the Washington. Such a beautiful state! That’s a very nice campsite. Love the ciders.
ОтветитьGreat find :)
ОтветитьMarc... any chance you may do a Million Dollar Highway video?
ОтветитьRiverside camping for 25.00 a night, what a steal! How many consecutive nights do they allow? Amazing footage as always Marc!!
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful campsite.
ОтветитьSuch a gorgeous part of Colorado that still a bit of a secret to many. We're from Texas and there's a large group of Texans we know who stay in Delores every summer to escape the heat of San Antonio. Thanks for sharing about the ranch property!
ОтветитьAlways interesting.
ОтветитьLove, love, love this area. It's been a long time but it's drawing me back. Thanks for your video.
ОтветитьAlways love your videos, even if we can’t tune in live, we always go back and watch. I did have a real “LOL” moment (in a good way) at your reflection in the cider still. 😂🤣😂 Great stuff!
ОтветитьSitting here in south Texas looking for ...something ....cool st night.
This might work
The name of Campground. ??
ОтветитьBeautiful spot!
ОтветитьGreat video! Your adventures are what we like to do and seek to do. Just need to retire in a couple years to get time. We really enjoy your channel! Take care.
ОтветитьWe met the owners 3 years ago during the fires. Lovely couple. Just used your promotion for "the dyrt PRO" 90 days free. Thank you. Love your history lessons as well as the beautiful scenery every week.
ОтветитьThanks for bringing back the beautiful memories of Dolores and surrounding areas. The road just before you get to Dunton takes you to the dry side of the mountain pass.We would bring our horses from Texas there to hunt. That road through the pass also brings you to Ground Hog reservoir. Another good fishing spot. Safe Travels!
ОтветитьYep you nailed it Marc, that's one fine relaxing camp site the sound of the flowing water can put you to sleep. Those towns were interesting, bet Zoey's had some good food too. The views were very nice, and the snow caped mountains, stunning. Travel safe you guys.
ОтветитьCheers Marc we have been camp on the OR coast for the past week and have finally gotten some descent internet so hope we can get this weeks live oh and loved the video
ОтветитьHow did you find that spot ? What resource
ОтветитьAs a new follower I have really enjoyed seeing some of the amazing spots you have set up the trailer. Is there a way to identify which teavel trailers are capable of be ming towed off paved roads to reach some of the incredible spots u have taken your? Thanks
ОтветитьGood 👍
ОтветитьI’ve driven through Dolores and Rico a few times but never stopped, I’ll have to spend a few days next time!
ОтветитьWhat an amazing video, my friend! Nice camping! The nature is amazing.. Enjoyed watching. Cheers from Russia, ☺✌🙂 , and welcome to my channel about bushcraft! Bestregards, Yuriy!

ОтветитьMarc,Marc your videos get better and better! This one adds an extra heartbeat to my heart! Take care!
ОтветитьThanks for taking us along
Ответитьfrom Delores to Telluride , most beautiful drive I've ever been on
ОтветитьWe are checking out some of your Colorado content to see what’s out there. We are camping at Boyd lake while i fly home to gainesville for treatment for two days before returning to Denver to continue our western trip, then home to Florida. Larry
ОтветитьThis is a great area to visit for a lot of reasons, and while Cortez benefits a lot from tourism, it's also the World HQ for Osprey Packs!
ОтветитьMark, I love that spot! Oh man … had to map that one out on my GAIA GPS. Thanks for the vid Brotha! 😎🇺🇸
ОтветитьMarc, since you posted this video this has been on our list of places to visit. We finally got a chance. This was a great location and we even got to watch an eagle fish in the river! Gina and Gordon, the owners, were lovely people. We also visited the Hard Cider establishment and spent a bit there. :-)
ОтветитьHi Guido, we’re camped here by the river in Dolores where you stayed several years back. This our second time we’ve been here and always love it. Thanks again for the tip. Let us know if you can when you were here last and made the video Mike and Debbie.
ОтветитьGlad you had a good experience! Based off your recommendation we booked three nights with Jeanna. Sadly our stay was quite different. Upon arrival Jeanna couldn't find or remember our reservation. I had reserved the big site at the end for our 42' motor home. She was very irritated and confused. Then refused to let us in the site and said we had to leave. I pleaded with her and she finally allowed us to park in another site. In the morning I unloaded my motorcycle, she lost her mind and angrily kicked us out. I told her twice we were bringing a Touring MC to use from her place. She said no problem a week earlier. Once we unloaded it everything changed. I feel bad for the elderly when dementia sets in. At 88 years old, Jeanna is definitely suffering. Sorry, zero stars and a huge thumbs down.
