My question to you is if the prohibitions of Islam against homosexuality are allowed to be overlooked so as to not hurt people's feelings, why not that of hijab and niqab? Clearly, you are compassionate to the LGBT people so why not to yourself? Especially now with what is going on in Iran?

As a homosexual I used to be safe where I lived until the muslim community found out. Islamophobia and homophobia is not the same. Imagine us non Islam people say. I accept you for being Muslim, because you can't always help the religion you believe in, but you cannot practice the religion, a.k.a you're not allowed to wear a hijab in a non Muslim country. It is exactly the same as saying you can be gay but not act upon your feelings. To me it's hypocritical.

Telling a gay person it's oke to feel gay as long as you don't actually love a same sex person is NOT accepting of gay people at all! How can you not see that?

I don't think that it is objective comparison to compare islamophobia and homomphobia. I am not islamic but in my country some regions islamic. In this regions they kill anybody who will be suspected as LGBT person, even his/her family will be shamed and can have punishment as well. It even won't be just kill it will be torthers and sadism.
So now my question is when you tell that you have a lot of rewards if you won't act as LGBT or with LGBT what do you think about LGBT people inside yourself? Because unfortunately majority strictly practice Islam people will tell that these people are in sin and they think that LGBT people are second sort people. So how do you expect that people won't be whisper or look at you as sybol of so cruel religion we are just scared. I know a lot of nice islamic people btw. But all of them not so stricritly practice islam. And they all are more secular and they truly think that freedom and equel rights for all people, genders and religions isn't just sounds.
