Pokémon Black & White - Gym Leader Battle Music (HQ)

Look, I know there are going to be those people that brag an say "oH iT wAs EaSy", but am I the only one that genuinely had a rough time against Clay and Lenora? They really set a high standard as far as how good gym leaders should be at the point you battle them in game.

I'm just glad I liked Black and White before everyone realized how good it was. I honestly think Gen 5 is my favorite generation over them all. Although Sinnoh also has a great story and region, I love EVERYTHING about Unova. I adore that region and what Game Freak did with it and these games.

This is the era when Pokémon music started becoming fire 🔥 from then onwards the music has always been incredible. Honestly Team Plasma is my favorite villain team just because their battle music is fire as well.

What if Unova wasn't a reboot and only had 107 new and 44 old Pokemon? While introducing Regional Variants+Fairy Type sooner. And if in 2012, there was a Socal-based Pokemon game as "Gen 6" with B2W2+SwSh characters and 121 new and 30 old mons? While XY is released later as Gen 7 in 2014 with 135 new species? Followed by SuMo as Gen 8 in 2016 and 144 new Pokemon(making 1,000 in total). And if the Pokemon franchise ended soon-after(before it was ruined by the Nintendo Switch and other issues by TPC) while under contract by GameFreak? How'd that have been like? Imagine living with altered memories.

Take note gens 10 and any future Pokémon games. Giving gym leaders a role and personality goes a long way to making the region feel alive. Everyone of these gym leaders felt like they had lives and were part of the bigger overall hustle and bustle of Unova (aka New York) Making them NPCs in a room where you only fight them isn’t doing them any justice. I know some games may have one or two gym leaders that you have to find but Unova made them all have a purpose in aiding in the story. And let’s all not forget they were the only gym leaders to give a 💩 about the evil team and what they were doing to their region. They showed up for the final fight in the castle

Black and White was my first pokemon game and I legit had to adapt to the increased difficulty...nevertheless the game was and is amazing

I love the intro to the gym leader where it shows your character and the gym leader's image with a "VS" in the middle. I always get an adrenaline rush during that part like it's your time to shine against the leader.

I had no problem with Lenora or Elesa, until I got my butt kicked by Drayden while having a low level team. Haxorous with swords dance swept through all 6 of my Pokémon.

Gen 5 has the best Soundtrack in all Pokémon games. You can't change my mind

Roggenrola vs. Watchog is the best strategy for Lenora, etter than Timbur or even sawk...throh is just as good imo

Ok I’m sorry but I have to say it: Burgh has absolutely awful taste in fashion. Like, what are those colours, my dude? They clash like a Zangoose and a Seviper.

Cilan is like, not very important in game, but in the anime he's like. One of the best characters

GEN V SLAPS HARD

When I first started playing B and W, I thought the gym themes were mid at best. When I am older I came to appreciate the themes.

Now I actually found Drayden harder than Lenora and it was mainly due to the fact at the time I had no Pokémon that Dragon types were weak to so I had to face off with my Serperior and I kid you not I won after my Serperior had run out of moves to use and had to use struggle

I recently dreamt that they made a spinoff tv show dedicated to Cilan working in a restaurant named "Pokémon: Spighetto's (Cilan's italian localized name) customers" and I can't stop thinking about it even if it was a background detail compared to the bed possessed by historical figure Garibaldi

How do people lose to Lenora? Did people not use Timburr or sawk/Throh?
