I like this game 2 team at same level, nothing really stand out. Well done Australia.

Great defensive effort by Australia. South Africa only had themselves to blame...some very poor decision making at times and that overthrown lineout throw.

Well done Wallabies to hold on til the end, it was a very experimental match with Beale at 10 and a bunch of their best players out with Pocock in particular who would've done a lot of damage in this sort of physical, rather slow paced encounter. Boks look like the better team of the two, but Aus squeeze one out at home despite obvious flaws (mauling was horrendous, scrum smashed, combinations out of sync…).

as a kiwi its great for us the ABS are playing well,but we still need the aussies and the boks doing just as good so we stay ahead of the northern hemp. the argies are getting up there crikey they scored 3 tries against the ABS.

Was that lineout overthrow a planned move? Creative, but if you rely on the bounce of the ball, it just might go against you.

How are all the throws directly to the front of the lineout considered to be straight? Not just in this game, straight throws seem like an optionally enforced rule.

such a shame the two most respected teams, are falling behind, as a kiwi and of course All Black supporter, i wish it was back in late 90s or early 2000s, when either the boks or the wallabies could beat the All Blacks, beating Australia at home was harder, the Boks at home even harder, politics in SA putting them way behind, and in Australia rugby is a third tier sport perhaps, Super Rugby is bloated and boring, i wish it was like the old super 12, when teams from each of the 3 counties played together often,then the tri nations, as an All Black supporter i hope there is some way that maybe NZ Rugby can throw a line to the Boks and Wallabies so both teams can get the respect they deserve, i remember being gutted when the All Blacks lost, but the games were hard and tough, in NZ there was no shame losing to South Africa or Australia
