Guys i need help with finding a new phone. What do yall suggest?
Im looking for a phone that is Smooth, Decently durable, good camera, Android and Good screen.

I have a hard time taking anyone seriously when they think the "Saturated" mode looks good. It looks fake and neon looking. Especially on reds which don't look even close to true red.

The "Boosted" mode actually looks realistic.

So I really want to upgrade from my now getting old Nexus 6 to the Pixel 2 XL.
But, I got a little scared of all the display problems. However I feel like the only other phone I would like then would be the Note 8. It has an additional 2 gb's of ram. Wireless charging, and better IP rating. But I just don't like the software of Samsung. Plus bixby is a big joke for me. I'd rather have the dual front speakers, stock Android experience and an in my opinion better camera. But I don't know. Which one should I buy?

It's a great phone but they need to lower the price.

I had this phone.. returned it fast.. dropped during a sentence then would come back.. got a Note 8 ..so much better with that and the Note 8 is much better managing my 2 email accounts.. Pixel disappointed me big time.

We have two Pixel 2 XL's in our house, and we both love them. Once I started reading that the whole screen controversy was completely overblown by useless, bored tech "writers," and that Google was pushing out an update to improve saturation, I took the plunge. And sure enough, as soon as I turned on the phone, there was an update ready which did exactly that. The screen is beautifully saturated now, without being obnoxiously so like a Samsung screen. It's perfect. Unless I'm in full sun, I keep it down around 20%, because it's just that bright. And the blue shift? I dug out my old phones and as noted in the video above, they all had color shifts. I never noticed. It's only present when the screen is white and you turn it sideways. It never, ever bothers me. Who looks at their phone sideways anyways??

This thing is blazing fast, free from carrier garbage, and the front facing speakers and #1 camera ROCK. My last charge lasted me 2d 16h 49m with 15% remaining. That was 9h 4m of screen on time. You naysayers can just stick with your other brands that will inevitably become laggy, and keep your bloatware that you can't remove unless you root. I'll keep my 2 XL. Oh, and BTW, Oreo is great!! You all will surely experience it someday....eventually...if you're lucky. By then I'll be on Android Q.

I like the Pixel 2 XL. Especially for the front facing stereo speakers and the camera. I think my Alcatel 4S looks better in design, (except for the bigger top and bottom bezels). I could imagine this as my next phone.

I just bought this phone less than a week ago and I am pleased with it. One thing I would address to you there and anybody that reads this is the phone rebooting on it's own. Has anyone else had this problem yet? It seems that mine will become partially unresponsive and then just reboot itself a few minutes later. I hope it's addressed in the next update, but I would be curious if you all there at A.A. or your viewers have had this happen to them.

So only after being called out about dissing the phone everyone is picking it back up and giving it praise... It was a great phone since launch but you know.... Jump on the hate bandwagon and then make up for it later...

I want the pixel 2xl, but since I can’t use my phone upgrade to get it, since the only phone company you can buy it through is Verizon, I can’t afford it straight up.

You would expect these screen issues on a budget midrange Chinese phone from an unknown company...do not buy this phone get the HTC U11+ instead

Overall, I like the phone. I had an iPhone 6+ and switched to the Pixel 2 XL. However, the biggest complaint I have about the phone compared to my 6+ is the music player; it sucks in my opinion. Sure the front-facimg speakers are loud, but I listen to a lot of music through buds and headphones and this music player is sub par. I have considered returning the phone because of it, but I really do like the assistant and the camera and hopefully there will be an update to the music player soon! . That's the biggest gripe I have so far.

Love me Pixel 2 XL. No complaints...

My problem with the pixel 2 XL is that it is $100 more than the galaxy s8, with thicker bezels, no headphone jack, less customization, etc.

I think it's funny that most people who slammed this phone at the beginning are now pushing it.

Yes, they should have been More considerate towards their clientele (who faithfully wear their Head or Earphones) in their Physical Fitness Workouts on a "Daily Basis" ! Geez !!!!!

I just got my hands on Pixel 2. Aaaaaand i'm picky about the screens. And it looks washed out. My lenovo p2 with OLED screen looks much better.

Battery!!! I love the battery. I use it at work. As you can imagine I am not a power user. I use it for emails, track meeting schedules, make some phone calls and do some web browsing. Don't do a lot of social media at work. Start of the day at about 8 am battery's 100%. By 8 pm, I still have 60% charge remaining. My Pixel 2 XL's about a month old. Beyond pleased with the battery life! And the camera's phenomenal. For these two, I'd recommend the Pixel 2 XL to anybody.
