That home feeling, it feels so real. Awww 🥰🥰🥰. Wow, that is a lot of money my goodness. I know before coming to Saudi I took the yellow fever vaccine and I was given my yellow fever card. At the airport in Nigeria, I was asked to present the card and the immigration officer before getting my boarding pass. When I can visiting in Saudi Arabia two years ago returning to Nigeria I was asked again to show my yellow fever care.

What he gave you was the standard travel advice for visiting Nigeria nothing unusual.
You having it before going to Nigeria is to protect you from yellow fever in case you were exposed even though it isn't that common.
You are also expected to show your yellow fever card when you go into the UK and many other countries for the first time at least.
It is valid for 10 years.
Malaria Prophylaxis is just Malaria Prevention.
He gave you the right advice and the recommendations for Nigeria include really expensive meds.
Prophylaxis means you start taking it a couple of weeks before entry so that you will be protected before exposure. The one you will buy in Nigeria will not be prophylaxis anymore.
I just thought I'd clarify that.
