ОтветитьProps to Kaylee but as an American that was so rough to watch
ОтветитьCongratulations Kaylee!
ОтветитьAlmost had goal
ОтветитьAussie Aussie Aussie!! Great final 25m! :)
Ответитьsheesh the aussies are eating America up these games lol
Edit: In swimming anyway, since its the only sport Im watching 🥶
Overall medals America is killing the Aussies, but the Aussies are definitely getting more first place.
ОтветитьAs an Aussie sports fan, I have to say Kaylee is my fave swimmer. She just delivers. No chat. Gracious. And a winner. Just like in Tokyo.
ОтветитьAmerican keep taking silver bronze
ОтветитьUSA isn’t doing well in swimming 😅 both men’s and women’s
ОтветитьYes Australia. Go for the Big ones.
ОтветитьShe's tough
ОтветитьCommentary is terrible
ОтветитьAfter the race, Regan said,
" She's (McKeown) an absolutely incredible racer" .
A class act by giving credit to her rival. ❤
aussie women are too strong to defeat
ОтветитьI guarantee you 2028 in LA is going to be a redemption motivated Olympics for a lot of American swimmers still proud it’s nothing to scoff at being 2nd or 3rd but winning is the only standard that’s accepted when it comes our swimmers so we can’t keep coming up short 💯
ОтветитьAmericans are allergic to gold it seems
ОтветитьAint beating no Australian in the water, that's how they catch their food - is by swimming.
ОтветитьCrazy good race gets me more excited for that 200
Ответить2028 revenge tour for team USA
ОтветитьWhy is the U.S. swim team so trash this year?
ОтветитьWay to go Smith! 🥈 Way to go Berkoff!! Go Pack!! 🐺🥉🐺
ОтветитьMcKeown is more clutch. Thats the biggest difference. Ability-wise, her and Smith are about the same. When she needs it the most, McKeown comes through.
ОтветитьFace it, Australia is the best in the pool. Period. USA dominance is OVER. It's done.
ОтветитьThis, to me, was one of the races that would influence who will have more golds in the pool, US or Oz.
And now it's clear.
Australian swimming is on top, and looking to stay there. They have big stars and champions that are just that little cut above the Americans and everyone else. Kaylee is one of them.
USA swimming needs to find that next great generation, because their current one is slowly aging out.
Great race. And another tell-tale sign that the Aussies have caught up to the States in the context of having the best of the best swimmers and more aces. They've got O'Callaghan, Titmus, McKeown, Chalmers, and Stubblety-Cook leading their pack while the US really only has Ledecky, Dressel, and Ficke since Phelps retired. The US still absolutely has the wider pool of overall swimming talent hence the total medal count disparity... but the Aussies undoubtedly have more golden eggs. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out the rest of this olympics and into the 2028 ones at LA.
ОтветитьUSA swimming looking it did pre- Phelps era when Ian Thorpe was killing everyone.
ОтветитьOutstanding❣️
Ответитьworst olympic for USA so far
ОтветитьAnother example of the best in the world not setting a record. It is a slow pool.
ОтветитьRace Summary According to NBC. "Congratulations to USA for beating AUS in the W 100m backstroke final, 2x Medals to Australia's 1x" 😆
ОтветитьI don’t know if it’s a lady
So I’ll just say show me so I can be sure
Now imagine if a DUDE was competing against this amazing woman!!!
ОтветитьGlad a Woman won the Women’s race.
ОтветитьOuch!!!
Ответить🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьRegan smoked her in the relay. Regan is the better 100 backstroker. Thats official.
ОтветитьRegan Smith is now the Olympic Regan holder as of today in the 100 back. So, Regan is the 100 back queen.
ОтветитьI remember Berkoff-papa embarrassing himself at the Olympics. His daughter had a chance but probably lost too much oxygen on a very long underwater push-off. Not all family traditions are good
