She says at the beginning, ""The Lord will cut the calamities of the last days short, if we will live our covenants."
Can anyone cite this source or anything close? Please and thank you.
Ever hear that one before? Brain it for me?
We discount the power of the adversary too often. In the Old Testament we have an example of Israel losing a battle against the Moabites even though Elisha promised victory speaking for Yahweh. This is found in 2 Kings Chapter 3.
In the New Testament Jesus could not perform mighty works, as recorded in Mark 6:5-6, except he laid hands on them.
Yes, in the end God wins. That I believe. But the adversary has bastions of power, places that the righteous should avoid as not to tempt fate, at least temporal fate.
If the waters are cursed, perhaps by Yam Nahar, then avoid them is my thought. President Kimball taught that, “Those who yield to evil are usually those who have placed themselves in a vulnerable position.” God will win but perhaps we can avoid unnecessary suffering by traveling by another way?
Shalom to all.
Thank You ❤
ОтветитьEven the artwork portrays the proper wearing of the robe when the Bridegroom is at the marriage.
ОтветитьSuper job and yes so powerful. Great meaning to all. I shall hear this one again and again.
ОтветитьWow so powerful! Symbolism is absolutely incredible! Thanks Sister Lynne Hilton Wilson! Thanks SC!
ОтветитьI chose my own husband,,, what a catastrophy that was x
ОтветитьGreat insights.
Much information to better understand our temple covenants.
It’s too bad Mormons believe in a works-based salvation. If only they knew the true Gospel of Jesus Christ who died for our sins. The wages of our sin was death, we deserved death because of our sin, every one of us, but Jesus paid that price for all who simply choose to believe in Him. They are saved by grace through their faith that Jesus is Lord, our Creator and Savior who was with God the Father from the beginning and through whom all things were created both seen and unseen. If Mormons heard this news they would leave their false gospel, their false prophets, and instead they would follow Jesus ❤
