Snorkeling | Key West, Florida (World's Third Largest Coral Reef)

Went here during the summer. It was beautiful I couldn't bring myself to leave the water

1. Swimming with your arms is wasted energy. It’s ideal to hav ether behind you back.
2. When diving you should spit out your snorkel. That way, if you black out, you don’t inhale water.

And it’s kinda hard to tell of you were doing this but you should equalize the pressure on your ears when you dive under

I cant imagine what coral used to be here. Thanks to Global warming, disease, careless tourist, unsafe sunscreen. Its all gone now. The Florida government needs to shut down these areas from people visiting because it needs healing.

the ocean is so magnificently BEAUTIFUL! It’s absolutely my fav peaceful place to be on this entire planet! It’s insane how we only studied 20% of it at this point, we know more about space than we do the ocean!

My family has been fishing in the Miami since 1905. 117 years. 6 degeration yet we only would bleed out tuna and jacks. How could I overlook something like this. I have fished with some of the best. Capt Bouncer for my sons 8 year old birthday 30 years ago in 1992. We always had cool boats but he loved Bouncer. Never bleed his fish either. Something so easy and obvious make all the sense in the world. What the heck.

Be careful when those mangrove branches hit you. You never know what's going to fall off of it, but it'll probably have 8 legs and leave you with an itchy welt for a couple days. Ask me how I know.😂

Tips i've learned.When snorkeling move your flippers gentally don't fight against the water, move your flippers with it.conserve your oxygen by blowing out a few bubbles at a time,and if you have to surface always bring yourself up slowly,or you can get the benz.
