100% agree however sometimes is hard to fit in with a white shirt and tie and a suit if the entire company including the CEO do not wear a tie or a formal suit ( I am talking a large energy services american company in their head office) , elsewhere globally yes I can see this as fit and truly enhance presence , confidence, status.

What guidelines would you use to pair and striped shirt with a striped suit

For personal style I can see this talking point, but all these men’s bespoke style channels & image consulting just seem to come at such an inappropriate time in human history. Covid and the lack of in house working environments dwindling as well as sloppy Gen Y & Z behaviors specifically in dress. I wish we could go back to the golden era of the suit and formality in general, it just seems to be a grim future for menswear… hope I’m wrong!!

This is so true on so many different levels. not only do I have a corporate job but I used to play competitive poker. and when I wore jeans and a ball cap, I would get called 90% of the time. but whenever I wore a suit, I would get called maybe 20% of the All of the tournaments I ever won, I was wearing a suit. when I busted out early, I was wearing jeans and a ball cap.
