I thought it would be just a medical issue… this was my last suspicion until the phone call from Davidoff to Casper. Then confirmed by Devon’s mom calling him. It’s a huge shock.

Oh damn, I thought we’d just get the reveal that he’s dying, not this far gone.

Bizarre how suddenly he died and they never explained what it was. It would have been more heartbreaking if he had cancer and took his own life as to not prolong his suffering.

Credit to the writers for fleshing out some real emotional drama. They didn't have to go this hard for a single player story mode, but I really appreciate the effort.

I called it, I totally called it. You can just almost see it coming, esepcially with how Davidoff's character was acting in the first two chapters. The psychology the desperation it doesn't take two super computers to see that coming. Though I will say it is quite early on they announce the passing of Davidoff, I could've maybe guessed EA would've written off his character around the season finale of 2024 (In game) just before they won the title (maybe idk if im spoiling it myself but if I was a story writer, it's the next assumption). But damn, did not expect that.

So now the story will focus onto Devon and will overlook as he takes on the new role as Team Owner? I dunno, it was clear that maybe Davidoff had written Devon as a beneficiary for most of his assets, including Konnersport as a whole. But it's gonna be quite an interesting dynamic to see where this is going.
