Heaven is not a reward for good people. Heaven is the free gift of God for whosoever believes in His son.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Many believers get salvation confused. They believe salvation is a reward that they have to be good enough to receive.

This leads many to never be secure in their salvation, never knowing if they’re truly saved, so they continue day after day relying on their good works, their deeds to save them.

Ephesians 2:8-9

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Of course, the problem with relying on your works to save you is that, what’s the standard that you need to reach to be saved? Do you repent of your sins 10 times a day or 20? Do you walk 10 old ladies across the street each day or 20?

It doesn’t matter how many works you can do. The Bible is clear that none are righteous, and we’re all filthy sinners who can’t save ourselves.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Bible says we are all as filthy rags, and that the only way to Heaven is through His son Jesus Christ.

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me.”

Calvinism and Lordship Salvationists blend salvation (God’s free gift) with sanctification (Doing God’s will after you’re saved) so the lines get blurry.

Let me clarify it.

Step 1: Salvation is accepting God’s gift by simply believing in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.

It’s 100% the free gift of God. Once you’re saved you are sealed unto the day of redemption. You cannot lose it. You now hold your ticket to Heaven.

Ephesians 4:30

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Step 2: Sanctification- After you get saved you can receive rewards when you get to Heaven by doing God’s will. Things like soul winning, spreading the Gospel, dying to fleshly, worldly desires, etc.

See, the Calvinists and Lordshippers want to confuse these 2 things and it results in people never being saved.

They believe the unbiblical false teaching that salvation is the free gift of God + some type of work that you need to do to be saved.

Salvation is free. If you’re adding works then salvation is not free. It can’t be both.

Remember, salvation first (the free gift to go to Heaven), then sanctification (Rewards you work for that you’ll receive when you get to Heaven.)

Acts 16:31

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

John 6:47, KJV: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

John 3:36

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

What? You're not ALSO a child of God by birth - THE NEW BIRTH - sharing the same SPIRIT and life of Jesus Christ?

2) Don't believe in God ! - You're accepted as Nastik
3) You want to worship idols - please go ahead. You are a murti pujak.
4) You dont want to worship idols - no problem. You can focus on Nirguna Brahman.
5) You want to criticise something in our religion. Come forward. We are logical. Nyaya, Tarka etc. are core Hindu schools.
6) You want to accept beliefs as it is. Most welcome. Please go ahead with it.
7) You want to start your journey by reading Bhagvad Gita - Sure !
8) You want to start your journey by reading Upanishads - Go ahead.
9) You want to start your journey by reading Purana - Be my guest.
10) You just don't like reading Puranas or other books. No problem my dear. Go by Bhakti tradition . ( bhakti- devotion)
11) You don't like idea of Bhakti ! No problem. Do your Karma. Be a karmayogi.
12) You want to enjoy life. Very good. No problem at all. This is Charvaka Philosophy.
13) You want to abstain from all the enjoyment of life & find God - jai ho ! Be a Sadhu, an ascetic !
14) You don't like the concept of God. You believe in Nature only - Welcome. (Trees are our friends and Prakriti or nature is worthy of worship).
15) You believe in one God or Supreme Energy. Superb! Follow Advaita philosophy
16) You want a Guru. Go ahead. Receive gyaan.
17) You don't want a Guru.. Help yourself ! Meditate, Study !
18) You believe in Female energy ! Shakti is worshipped.
19) You believe that every human being is equal. Yeah! You're awesome, come on let's celebrate Hinduism!
"Vasudhaiva kutumbakam" (the world is a family)
20) You don't have time to celebrate the festival.
Don't worry. One more festival is coming! There are multiple festivals every single day of the year.
21) You are a working person. Don't have time for religion. Its okay. You will still be a Hindu.
22) You like to go to temples. Devotion is loved.
23) You don't like to go to temples - no problem. You are still a Hindu!
24) You know that Hinduism is a way of life, with considerable freedom.
25) You believe that everything has God in it. So you worship your mother, father, guru, tree, River, Prani-matra, Earth, Universe!
26) And If you don't believe that everything has GOD in it - No problems. Respect your viewpoint.
27) "Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu " (May you all live happily)
You represent this! You're free to choose, my dear Hindu!
This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything . That is why it is eternal !!!
There is a saying in Rigveda , the first book ever known to mankind which depicts the Hinduism philosophy in a Nutshell " Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah" Let the knowledge come to us from every directions..

How how can you make such a statement Aoption by God you don't even know him you do not even acknowledge His name .....in a Adoption Agency do you think they would let you adopt a child when you do not give any personal information about yourself NOT EVEN YOUR NAME (you say MAN thats my name you know you won't get the child ? Jesus tells us The whole World is laying in the hands of the wicked one ... The ONLY WAY " TO get approval from Jesus Christ is to THEN IMITATE HIM MATT 23: v18 v19 v20 or are you just bystanders ???

Ezekiel 44.28 and it shall be unto them for an inheritance I am their inheritance and ye shall give them no possession in Israel I am their possession. God is no respect of person. God eternal life belongs to his children. God is a eternal spirit within us.

John MacArthur does not needs comments, He needs supporters! Amen

Isn't MacArthur a Calvinist ? Why is he not more clear about it ? He believes that God has predestined some people to heaven and others to hell. So you do not get to choose whether you believe in Christ or not. The God of Calvinism does not want everybody to get saved.

In a way, Christians are of the tribe of Judah by faith in Christ Jesus.
