ОтветитьRadio = Motorola "Clean Cab" Astro Spectra VHF Hi band, 60 watts.
or
JEM Communications clean cab kit for Kenwood NX series or Icom mobile radios
12, 36, and 72 volts DC supported
I work as a diesel locomotive driver in Russia and I was interested in how a diesel locomotive works in the USA. thanks for this video.
ОтветитьLOL "Here we go." Used to say that a lot on the CSX.
ОтветитьThe people who work on the ground should really get paid more. This is hard work. There should be a coffee machine for you all in this.
ОтветитьIt looks like they have never spent money on upgrading, since they built the train.
ОтветитьDo you poop in the toilet and the excrement just goes down the hole in the train to the rails?
ОтветитьHow dose one get a job as a engineer
ОтветитьSubscribed !!!
ОтветитьHello. Is it possible a brazilian apply to work at BNSF? My dream is to become a railroader!!!
ОтветитьYo that fridge has been there since 1975. Jesus.
ОтветитьHere in Brazil we use a system with a keyboard to talk to the traffic controller, where we inform when we stop or break down locomotives or wagons, sending a message, I see that in your system there is no keyboard, what is the way of communicating with the traffic control center ?
ОтветитьWould love to start an account but csx doesn't allow us to even have our phones out or on smh
ОтветитьI’d love to have that job been a dream job for a long time
Ответитьwhat happens if you leave air in a remote after uncoupling, and dont unlink the dpu control.
ОтветитьI am surprised no one has developed a modular bathroom for locomotives. Something that can be swapped out and refurbished. Would help crew morale at a minimum.
ОтветитьStill working there?
Ответитьi thought the Train has to go up to 65 mph the max not 70 plus the hot box monitors how fast the train is running and the temperature of the wheels i got a laugh about the washroom i will tell that to a Engineer next time when he waiting for the next train. i will tell him dont go in the washroom it will shell like shit and smells like a litter box he will get a laugh.
i got a Question is that a camrea up above your head that was a round white thing
I’ve been in several when I was a conductor.
ОтветитьDon’t show the technology, the Chinese might steel it
Ответитьwell Train sim 5 show a lot more of the cab.
ОтветитьPretty sure this an FRA violation!
The General Public does not need to see this it makes everybody in the industry less safe !
Needs better lighting
ОтветитьDamn. This guy curses just like me. I can totally respect that. At least he's honest about everything. And he wants to protect his line of work. I understand where he's coming from.
ОтветитьWhat was the cart in front of what you were in? You look in front of the windshield and there’s another cart. That must suck having to stare at that instead of looking at the open outdoors
ОтветитьTaking a chance using your cell phone! FRA violation!
ОтветитьLove the video. I commute from Abq to Roswell, and always see trains near encino and Vaughn and have always wondered. Thanks for sharing 👏 safe travels! New sub here.
ОтветитьActually, do Security at one of your guys’s job sites in New Mexico watching the trains and everything so it’s pretty cool to see what’s inside of them
ОтветитьI didn’t think yall were allowed to have your phones out while on duty.
ОтветитьThis was a rail engine attached to another engine in front of it, and it holds a mystery. Is the second engine controlled by the engine ahead, or is it operated by its own pilot? Forgive my naivety.
ОтветитьJust curious? Im assuming you cannot work this position if your prescribed medication???
ОтветитьWhy no seat belts? What happens if you hit something or derail?
ОтветитьMy uncle was an Engineer in the 80's. The controls looked a bit different back then. The throttle and brake slid horizontally and there was a pedal on the floor you had to keep your foot on at all times in order to keep the engine in operation. Certainly there were no computer screens. Only guages.
Ответитьno electronic devices F.RA violation
ОтветитьHow to see infromt its blocked by a carrage ?
ОтветитьI would be honored to subscribe to your channel! And a dislike.........NAW I''M JOKING!! lol. You got the like from me too!!
ОтветитьI so wish I got into this career instead of truck driving.
ОтветитьI love dash 9 and if u hate it then why are you on a board ???? Go find a different thing to do
ОтветитьTf you mean the head surprisingly didnt have a bunch of stuff on the walls? Like graffiti or some art work from Poocasso's?
ОтветитьSo no one cleans the cabs, I think the toilet looked cleaner than the crew area.
ОтветитьIm enjoying your videos brotha and learning something about trains great content keep your videos coming in interesting 😮
ОтветитьWhere do you sleep? Is there bed in the locomotive?
ОтветитьYeah...but where's the steering wheel and turn signals?
ОтветитьNo one knows pain till they pulled a yard shift on a cn gp9rm haha 😢😢😂😂
ОтветитьI sometimes miss my old job. Operating locomotives was the best part of it, but the rest of the job sucked. It was just a job at a grain terminal but we had our own locomotive, ladder tracks, etc., and would often use the BNSF locomotives for the bigger sets of cars. We never drove more than 3-4 miles in a single direction, but being able to sit back and relax while loading/unloading rail cars was awesome. It was probably a better job than working as a BNSF engineer because I could drive locomotives yet go home every night.
