I could totally see Patrick Wisdom totally go to a Houston Astros type team where he works for a year or so and ends up getting tweaked to where he hits 30 bombs a season with a .250 avg. Just a Cub thing to do.

Sounds like a good trade. But i would still like to add a high leverage ACE to the bp. Thais ... we need somebody to catch if Amaya can't is about all you can say there. [Off topic] There's no way the Cubs are more competitive in 2025, given the money situation, after trading Hoerner or Bellinger. Just doesn't make sense unless it's Bellinger for a great offensive catcher who essentially replaces his production. I don't think anyone has a surfeit of great catchers and a dirth of good outfielders. Maybe somebody needs a first baseman badly and has two great catchers. I doubt it. Get Kyle H. and the best starter we can get, provided they are better than Wicks and co. and the high leverage bp guy and that's how we get 90 wins.
