ОтветитьStill amazing ❤
Ответитьive made a drawer that had 3 dovetails on each side. it took me around 5 hours to do by hand and did pretty ok, seeing rob do one set of dovetails under 4 minutes makes me go crazy :D
ОтветитьLove to see him do it with hardwood
ОтветитьOMG
ОтветитьI watched franks video, very impressive, but god that looked rough, very nice rob, been watching you for a long time and you have inspired me to take this journey, thank you ! I wish i could afford your dovetail saw, one day !! Im so close to trying to make my own with the teeth like that .... rip veritas dovetail saw hahah, na
ОтветитьI really want to see Rob best the record and really go for speed this time. He could bang out a dovetail in two minutes, I bet.
ОтветитьGreat video. While Frank is pretty entertaining, and has a fun accent, your dovetails look better. Yours are done like the rest of us could imagine that we could do it. Great craftsmanship and very inspirational. I want to try thru-dovetails now, and I will be trying your way. Not Franks.
ОтветитьRob..you look sooooo young!! :o) x
ОтветитьRob, have you ever considered contacting the Guinness Book of World Records people? I was thinking about you and this video the other day and did a sort of perfunctory search of their site and couldn't find even a category for this so maybe it's something they'd be interested in creating a category for. I think it would be worth a little investigation anyhow. I'll just bet you'd win it hands down f there's even anyone out there that would try and compete with you. That's my 2-cent's worth anyway.
-d {8^)
very nice looking sir padmanabhan v india trivandrum
ОтветитьJohn Bullar's 3min is still unrivaled, but this one makes it a second place easily
ОтветитьTime to defend your title? This needs to be like the nose speed record documentary on speed climbing El Cap
ОтветитьMatt just did it under 3 minutes
ОтветитьDo you sell dividers? If not, where’s a good place to pick those up? What about a good tiny square?
ОтветитьIve done my 3rd box of dovetails. All together it took me 2 days to cut all the dovetails around the box. Hahahaha only 4 joints.
ОтветитьHey, Rob. Fret saw? Is that a type of coping saw or something specific? Thanks!
ОтветитьImpressive craftmanship. Very impressive
ОтветитьAwesome. Really. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Also if you want a four minute tutorial on flying helicopters hmu!
ОтветитьThe sound of that plane cutting is so nice
ОтветитьCompliment from Italy
Ответить😲 you Harry Potter for wood... 😂
ОтветитьThat is very impressive to watch
ОтветитьExcelent working Master 🙋👍
ОтветитьOriginal and best 🙌
ОтветитьTerrific...but when are we going to see some dovetails out of hard wood we all know pine compresses more so it's a lot more forgiving.
ОтветитьI made a dovetail box from 2x10 cedar. Took me 2 days! (I'm doing something wrong!) But it looks great in the garden!
ОтветитьThis is how I imagine people worked back in the day. What I can't imagine is keeping this pace for 10 hours a day, six days a week.
ОтветитьThis might be my favorite video of all time.
ОтветитьFrank Klausz was so much more relaxed. Thousands of dovetails will do that for you.
ОтветитьBrilliant work. Just wonder where did you buy your hand saw? Can you give us a link please?
ОтветитьNever leave gaps for glue to fill. Nicely done as far as I can see. Imagine working like this all day.
ОтветитьImpressive
ОтветитьI want to buy that DVD at 2019 even I dont have a DVD player..
epic craftmanship <3
Could you add link with brand and models of the tools you used?
Thank you
That's incredible! It takes me longer to go for a wiz :)
ОтветитьI am simply blown away every time I watch this, amazing.
ОтветитьHello Mr.Cosman,
I’m a beginner at woodworking and joinery and am very quickly learning that cheap saws do not work for getting even intermediate results.
I think your saw is well worth the money (and once I can I will be getting it), but is there a more affordable option you recommend?
Thanks Mr.Cosman and I really enjoy your videos.
Wow that was quick 👊🏽
ОтветитьOla Rob I always worked with metals but I like wood so much the smells the textures the tools my God my damn my love I love tools, I love a planer what advised me a beginner to me? A strong hug from here in Portugal, Do you already have any suppliers here in Portugal? P.S. your tools my God is to leave with water in the mouth kkk all good for everyone there
ОтветитьHoly Smokes that was very impressive. This makes me want to get into dove tails even more.
ОтветитьWhat about blindfolded?
ОтветитьBetween you and Mr Klausz, I feel like a dovetail "girly man!" LOL
ОтветитьRob, after years of being intimidated to try the dove tail, you finally gave me the know-how and courage to give them a try yesterday. Took me about an hour and a half (3 tails), and I was pretty happy with the result. Not 100% perfect, but a good first go.
ОтветитьRob, amazing, as is all of your videos and work is! Quick question, i have a cheap fret saw, i hate it, can't afford the knew concepts 150$ saw.... Do you have a mid price solution to my problem?
ОтветитьDo you cut inside the line, outside the line or on the line?
Ответить"Not bad" lol riiiight
