ALL 20 HOMERS: Shohei Ohtani went yard to become first player with 20 homers in 2025!

Im no baseball expert so I wonder why they dont just let him walk to first base instead of risking homeruns.

One thing I'm noticing is that the majority of these home runs are off of pitches that painted the edge of the strike zone, and both inside pitches and outside pitches were getting crushed. What if opposing pitchers tried throwing it right down the middle of the plate every time against Shohei? Based on this video, maybe it would be safer to do that instead 😁

Batting first? Could you imagine all the RBI's Ohtani would have batting behind Betts and Freeman. Anyone else think he should bat 3rd or 4th.

LA girlie here.... Never really bothered watching baseball but with Ohtani....I watch every single game and search for all the highlights. That shows you his massive appeal to untapped populations.

Man must have incredible eye sight.

Typically, Shohei Ohtani is a slow starter and doesn't hit much in April and May.
When the weather gets hot and the pitchers start to tire, he usually starts producing a lot of home runs.
This year, I think it would be best for him to not push himself to return as a pitcher, and to wait until the postseason.
If he focuses on batting during the regular season, it could be an even more historic season than last year.

And what’s crazy is how he hits them from all over the place over the plate making history in his time for sure 👏
