I had a dream about 2 am that was in snapshot about ten years ago. I was seeing the six snapshots from the sky. An unfamilar girl had committed suicide or was murdered in the bathtub in the dream. The scene was not gory; she was just dead. I was searching for answers in my life about a man, and he was in one of the snapshots and entered the house before I discovered she was dead. I awoke immediately after the dream, only to feel through telepathy that someone was standing about three feet away from me. (My husband was working overnight. This only happened about five times in twenty years.) This probably wasn't just a coincidence. It was like I knew this person that was communicating with me telepathically. I wasn't scared. That was about ten years ago, and I still wonder if I should of been scared? It stood there, and it was like I really knew this person. Was it a familar spirit? I will never know if it was there to harm me because when it sat on my bed I arose quickly. I didn't emit any fear, although I felt strongly that I was being watched. It is as if this form of telepathic communication was more real than seeing visually, After that, I slept with all the lights on in my house. We had a gun standing behind our bedroom door, and we had oak floors. The gun had never fallen. It fell loudly the next morning. Did something disturb the gun? That was over a decade ago, and I hope and pray that it never happens again. I had been praying for answers about this person for awhile. A state trooper arrived in the dream that had died in the line of duty. His name tag recited his name, and he was a distant cousin.

Phenomenal interview. I like how Art sounds so rattled throughout because of his personal subjective experience. The interviewee also gets a little flustered when describing his own paranormal "Grinning man" experience. If anything like this pops up in my reality, I would try to communicate with it.

One thing actually did pop up when I set up a magnetic field around my bed to ward off attacks, and a shark like being tried to penetrate through. I confronted and asked it to speak with me, at which point it got super startled at being perceived, and zipped off back to where it came from.

Miss him

When I was 5 in 1986, there was a shadow person every night at the foot of my bed. It would slowly come up to my face and then I'd hide under the blanket. When id peek back out it would do it again over and over until I fell asleep. I called it Darth Vader because that's all I could compare it too. My mom always said how I would never sleep when I was 5. I never told her. But now hearing shadow people stories, it makes sense. I'm still scared when I think about it. They are real.

It's ok Art! Most studies actually show that listening to rock /metal while studying for a test, got higher test scores than folks who listened to classical music while studying. You are all good! ❤

when I was young I used to get scare when I would seen something like a shadow figure or person now I laugh when I see the same shadow thing me and my ex had a strange encounter where we were having a good time in the bedroom and bout 15 mins in, she saw something in the corner of the room like a shadow of someone standing there we go back to having a good time and then I see something kinda dash Across the room to my left and she saw it again and I told her about shadow people or spirits and we finished up and I told her not to trip… that the shadow Person was a pervert we both had a good laugh and she wasn’t spooked anymore 😂

Has anyone heard of/seen Shadow Children?

Lived with my gf and her grandad for a few years and her grandad claimed to see them all the time. She started seeing them after he passed away. It wasnt till years later after at my lowest point that I was lying in bed one day in a deep depression. The lights were off but i look up and see 5 or six dark deep shadows in human shape all standing around my bed staring down at me. The best way i could describe them was they were burning like fire, the shadows crawling up them like a propane flame. They tood there for five minutes before disapating , along with the last of my depression as if they were absorbing the negative energy. Wild, especially after hearing arts guest onetime describe them as " maggots feeding off dead flesh" but instead of flesh its negativity

Shadow people might be our passed relatives somehow viewing us from wherever or there aliens time travellers or extra dimensional beings viewing us Ive heard of cases were they seem stunned even distressed when we see them like there cloak failed

I'm not so very religious but saying the lord's prayer is worth a try for shielding against bad entities....remember, we are vulnerable to things that come from different dimensions while we sleep and it's wise to ask the 'gate-keeper' for protection before going to sleep.

Looking back I Remember crazy things happening. Couldn't tell you what happened because I was young or I was drunk. When it happen I was like what the he'll just happened. I have given all my faith to Jesus crist that he will forgive me. I. Still a wast of life but I don't fear anything and try to be a little better every day to show thank to Jesus. Nothing weird has happened except for the occasional night terror but the devil doesn't give up east. Luckly Jesus never gives us on us

The concept of a "ghost" can have a multitude of explanations our minds are not equipped to understand. We relegate their explanation into a few catagories, but they are so much more complex than we can even imagine.

"I rebuke you in the name Jesus Christ." Say that and they are gone instantly. They move so fast! Through Him we have immeasurable power over these beings that aren't very nice. Know your power through Him. Devastating to them.

IF shadow people actually are real... My theory is that they are just people from another dimension. It's the most rational, logical, and reasonable explanation with all things considered.

I can't outright deny the existence of shadow people because there is no proof that they do not exist. So, my theory is that they are just people from another dimension. The only stories I'm willing to believe are the ones where they are seen, and that's it. These stories of them having many different colors of glowing eyes and hiding under your bed while grabbing your ankles, I dont believe those.... That was a bad dream, or an outright lie. I'm confident in saying that.

My family would take long road trips from Arkansas to Arizona to see family and my old man would keep Coast 2 Coast rolling late at night. Always fun and interesting discussion would follow!

I’ve been seeing these damn things since 1999. They suck, but I eventually started not to really care anymore and treated them the same as I would a nightmare. Haven’t seen one in a couple years and that’s probably because I take Prozac and trazodone now.
