Let's decide the best month to visit Japan here! It's October for me😘 Tell me your best month! Thank you for watching✌
ОтветитьMy favorite time is January & February, partly because there are fewer tourists. January is one of the sunniest months in Tokyo (whereas, January is the cloudiest month in my home town, Cleveland OH). It is also the Hatsu Ozumo Basho in January. Since 2015, a different rikishi has won the January Tournament every year!
Also it is the season for shirako (milt). I love shirako ponzu.
Setsubun, on February 3 is a lively festival held at many shrines around Tokyo (and elsewhere, no doubt). The Tengu Matsuri in Shimokitazawa is held around the same time.
I visited early to mid March this year, and will visit end of February to mid March next year. I just realised your hometown is Kinosaki Onsen, it's in my itinerary for next year! I have pollen allergies so sakura doesn't interest me, I really want to visit during autumn but it's not suitable with my work. Early March is still quite cold, not as cold as Dec-Feb though. I don't mind since I enjoy cooler temperatures. It's also low season, so plane tickets and accomodations are cheap! I also love onsen and prefer bathing during colder temps, and the seafood is also great during/just after winter. Another perks of low season is not as many tourists, which I also prefer.
ОтветитьIt´s a great guide to visit japan... !!!
ОтветитьWe will be there at the start of October this year! Very glad that we chose that time. We like warm weather, but not too warm. It sounds like October is the ideal for being outside, seeing the sites, without getting exhausted by heat and humidity, or deterred by the cold. And see the leaves changing sounds every bit as magical as the cherry blossoms! Great videos! :)
ОтветитьIs it usually warm enough to wear shorts in October. I just dont want to have to wear pants. Would early October be recommended for this. Also, when do Halloween related things like decorations or things at restaurants and bars start to come out.
ОтветитьJust came back from Japan for the very first time last June.
The main purpose was to visit disneyland, disney sea and universal studio. Yeah budget hotels are i guess more affordable. And the crowds in those theme parks are just fine without competing for space and queues with the local kids (except in metros and subway😂)
Weather is pretty hot just like in Indonesia where im from, but during rainy days it is much cooler 👍
So its like one full sunny day could be followed by one full rainy day on the next 😅
10 trips so far ... Now only, early April and early November for me ... Cooler weather and likey best of Sakura 🌸 and Koyo 🍁 😊
ОтветитьI have been to Japan 4 times in different months. My favourite to least favourite time to travel in the Kanto region:
September (22-32°C)
June (17-30°C)
April (10-20°C)
December (5-10°C)
Despite September having a bad reputation of being in peak typhoon season, typhoon is not as likely to occur in Kanto region. I felt September is mostly pleasantly warm.
Most sources rave about April being the ideal time to visit but I found it a little troublesome. I wore a jacket most of the time and took it off for a few hours (hence an extra item to carry in hand) during the hottest time of the day. When shoes and clothes get soaked in the rain, it is more uncomfortable in April as unlike in June where weather is warm enough for shorts/skirts/slippers, more of my longer length clothing got soaked in April.
Thank you so much for the information! Is it still cold enough to go to hot spring in march?
ОтветитьAnother video of super-useful and well sorted information!!! 👏🏼
ОтветитьAfter researching temperatures, end of Oct or Apr would work for me. The other thing I want to be there for (some day) is Sumo. Sounds interesting/fun. Great episode 👍🏽🥰
ОтветитьJune is the best time for us since our national school long holiday start on Mid of Jun to Mid of July...
ОтветитьSo helpful, thank you!
ОтветитьHi thank you for the video. I’m planning for mid November. Avoiding crowds and cool weather are my most important factors. I thought I picked correctly in November. I want to go to Fukuoko for the Sumo championship. Is this a good idea or can I see good sumo without traveling so far? Also do you have itinerary videos?
ОтветитьBest time would be when Fashion stores have sale. When do the stores have sale?
Ответитьand... between early april, secondo week of may and last part of september, which one would You prefer?
ОтветитьLooking forward to Autumn glad I get to stay the whole season. Thanks for the help
Ответить👋Hi Nao, Thanks for your video! Of course, I go in August. Otherwise, I can wait 5 years to get a big vacation. 🤷🏻♀️
