RØDECaster Pro Features - Noise Gate Function

Am I the only one that thinks the complete silence/pumpiness of the voice going in and out on the audio makes it worse than consistently having the fan on in the background?

I love my rodecaster but this gate is horrible. It cuts the audio completely out sometimes and when it doesn't it sounds so unnatural and gives off a wobble effect. This is one of the main things I wish you guys would fix.

Turning on the noise gate doesn't "reduce" the amount of noise when you stop talking.. It literally kills it to the point of being so harsh that it's painfully obvious the speaker is running a noise gate. When I record and ultimately get it up to 16 LUFS podcast standard, the sound has a vibration because of a noise gate. I love the RCP but I REALLY hope in the next update you start making the processor options adjustable (like the sound level is) instead of just on or off.

that fluttering effect is super annoying, I literally tried to speak at same volume without moving my face at all, but the recorded audio volume randomly kept on going too up or too down, but if I turn off the noise gate it introduces too much background noise, dont knw what to do , maybe noise gate can become smarter in next firmware update? I would really appreciate that.

Thanks for the video. Can the noise-gate be applied to the phone line-in port?
