love the new style of video!
ОтветитьAfter watching this video, I pulled out my old Breya and Anje commander decks, and did some sample hands. They may be outdated, but I still enjoy them. Thank you for sharing this content!
ОтветитьEditing was so sick
ОтветитьGreat video. Please make more!
ОтветитьWoah, LVD made an EDH video AND he made a deck with a commander I also use?! I accidently made my deck extra greasy unintentionally because it loops with kogla, agadeems awakening, and eternal witness/timeless witness. I also went with jamming in most of the high cmc cascade creatures so you can blitz on the cheap and cascade for a high cmc! V A L U E
ОтветитьThank you. Privileged to experience a bit of your world outside Arena.
ОтветитьFood chain could also help casting Henzie multiple times for extra discount.
Love the deck tech. Excellent stuff
This was a great change of pace. I'd love to see some commander gameplay videos in the future.
ОтветитьLove the video, watched the whole thing waiting for the gameplay part haha, maybe you could stream a couple live games using SpellTable and upload the videos here?
ОтветитьThis was an entertaining and well structured way of showcasing a commander deck. I dont play tabletop but i enjoyed it nonetheless.
ОтветитьI think this type of content is awesome. Thanks for the great entertainment.
ОтветитьWould love to see you in The command zone for game nights!
Ответитьi would LOVE to see more of your paper decks Lvd. it would be awesome
ОтветитьI have always loved the deck tech part of your videos, so it’s nice to see them irl!
ОтветитьThis was a pleasant change of pace. It's nice seeing what kind of deck you run in the land of meat and paper.
ОтветитьAh hem - playmat, good sir. Don't leave us hanging, haha. I envision a nice Foglio one, like Goblin King. Absolutely do more of these.
ОтветитьFantastic video! I love the format and editing. Nice to see a deck explained in such detail, and in paper.
Ответитьhonestly would love to see Mr. LVD play commander!
ОтветитьI'm torn. I love seeing my favorite creators branch out and try making different or innovative content and this definitely sits comfortably in that category. But I'm leaning on the non-paper side of magic more and more lately, not necessarily because price is prohibitive( though it can be ). But because I have to worry about storing and protecting and carrying(and even losing track) those cards. Not the worst if you think you only need 1 copy of anything. But what if I have a commander that I also want in the 99 of a few other decks. Owning multiple staples so I don't have to worry about deconstructing one or more decks so I can form another is just slightly too much on the cumbersome side for me.
ОтветитьVery cool for a change of pace!
ОтветитьYes, please.
Would be interested in some alternative considerations too, like "why this card over that one".
What a surprise! It's always cool to know the deck-building process of others - and the editing was top-notch as always
Now we only need to see it in action ;)
Have you considered playing stalking vengeance?
ОтветитьAlways love the videos regardless. This was awesome because I feel like magic players kinda play all formats but have a preference. Would love to see more paper decks
ОтветитьLove the Ultimate Guard double deckbox, I still use it from time to time. But for those of you in Europe, the German company Zauberhand has a 4 decks deckbox that can fit 4x100 double sleeved cards and showcase the commander. Perfect to have some choice for game night, and/or to play with people who don't have their own decks.
ОтветитьDo I want more? Sure! This sure came out of the blue! Can you make a mono black commander deck? ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьI prefer gameplay videos, whether it’s paper or digital.
ОтветитьAwesome deck tech, would love to see what other commanders you brew with
ОтветитьReally interesting and well produced video for a change of pace :)
ОтветитьFun video format!
I will never build any commander decks (since I don't play Magic), but this is very interesting and entertaining anyway!
I do enjoy the deck tech parts of your normal videos a lot, so that makes sense.
awesome video
ОтветитьThis decks really seems to fit LVD style, at last when comparing to the usual deck techs for Brawl - a lot of value and synergy, but not too combo focused, plus a few pet cards that might be sub-optimal, but are fun to play. Glad to see you are on the more casual side of the commander world and bonus points for Moldgraf Monstrosity. :)
Ответитьafter I heard him talk a bit about modern makes me want to see him at least once talking or playing modern, idk why but it's interesting to just listen to what he thinks.
ОтветитьDidn't realize you played paper commander! I'd definitely like to see more, thats basically been the only format I've been playing for the past year
Ответитьinteresting and well done
ОтветитьBeen thinking about building henzie since he came out- my fave creator making a decktech got me to pull the trigger :) awesome vid
ОтветитьVery nice video, but makes me sad to see two Titans and neither are Primeval :((
ОтветитьMore of this pls hell yeah
ОтветитьAny chance of seeing some tabletop gameplay content in the future, here or you guesting someplace?
ОтветитьJust got around to watching this. Really loved this type of content. I can also really appreciate how you break it down in such an organized way. I would love to see more and would recommend this type of video to others that I know. Excellent work.
Ответитьmore edh content please
ОтветитьIt’s been too long since you posted one of these please post more of these paper breakdown videos!
Ответитьsundial of the infinite doesnt exactly do what youre looking for as a whole my friend :( unfortunately its "next end step", which will still trigger on the next person's end step as well, so your creatures will still be sacrificed, just delayed for a sec.
ОтветитьI NEED THAT FOIL KOGLA!!!
ОтветитьVery nice Deck tech. I wish there where a updated version^^ love henzie
ОтветитьT2 henzie is a must. Ramp for 2 should get cut
ОтветитьI’ve never thought much of this deck when I first saw it, but after seeing it in play I need it.
ОтветитьDo you still play this deck? 41 lands seems like 5-6 too many right?
ОтветитьHey @LegenVD still running Henzie? Have you made any notable changes?
Ответитьnice list. Theres some cards that can be updated in this deck and are must adds. -Ziatora, the incinerator -Riveteers ascendancy -Ojer Kaslem, deepest growth -Vaultborn Tyrant.
Secondly, not having Skull Clamp is a mistake. for 1 mana, you are drawing 3 cards from the blitzed creature dying instead of 1.
