Corded, right?
ОтветитьHave this saw....love it...miles over my old porter cable
ОтветитьMine is being delivered Friday. First table saw, and I'm so excited to have found such a good table saw for $299. I thought I'd have to pay $500 and was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this one.
ОтветитьThanks for the review I'm hoping to snag this up soon . What blade you recommend for plywood and trim?
ОтветитьCant find this saw anywhere anymore.
ОтветитьFence is not square to the table. I got one today and it was off and no way to adjust. Definitely returning
Ответитьthank you! I needed to pick up a table saw, and with all my big ish purchases, I usually research many many brands, price points, trying to get the most bang for my buck. and I feel you did the leg work for me! I usually like the "PRO-sümer" level tools,(not a contractor, but I want to do a quality job around the house) I also would like to have a tool last me close to my lifetime. most of my tools that I picked up as a teenager at yardsales were quality higher end tools but at a used price. (and still running strong!
ОтветитьMY. FAVORITE. SAW.
ОтветитьJust STOLE THIS SAW on Amazon for a $269 deal. I snapped it right up. Can’t wait for it to arrive. My current saw? A 10” Harbor Freight that I have struggled through for 15 years. I CAN make that HF saw make good cuts but I have to fuss with it all the time. I just had to cut some hard maple with the HF. 6/4 planks and I needed the widths to not vary by more than maybe 1/16”. I had to tap my fence into place and then clamp the fence to the table and then check parallel again only to find clamping moved it so I had to readjust and take into account the amount the set up would move as I applied clamping pressure. See what I mean? I basically hate my HF saw and so glad my Skil is on the way. I’m going to actually be able to do better work because of it - absolutely no doubt. If a man can make a POS HF saw work almost good enough - imagine what he can do upgrading to this Skil saw?!!! Haha. Some things in life are so important. I’m cheap though (my old neighbor says I’m just frugal) and I had to FIGHT MYSELF to hit the BUY button on Amazon even tho this saw was only $269. But I closed my eyes and pulled that trigger boys!!!
