In my opinion, we should not be reopening, the testing kits are not that accurate yet, sure we may having a decreasing number of cases and deaths, but that does not mean it is safe to reopen. If we reopen, the number may start to accelerate again, and from what I know we don't have vaccines. It is my opinion, of course the health care professionals know better.

Somewhat inaccurate reporting. You make it sound like the have been approximately 56,000 cases of COVID19. We really do not know how many there have been. Those are just positive tests. You do say "so far" but most people will misinterpret that. Provinces vary all over the place in their testing.I find the use of words like "top doctor" for either US or Canada corny. They are doctors that are appointed by politicians. Numbers of new cases do not mean as much until you adjust for size of population and population densities. There are many more factors that have to be examined besides what the media is now reporting. Hopefully in the long run media will report thorough analyses and not just regurgitate what politicians and their appointees announce.
