Oh I remember that day. Dang that was tough.
ОтветитьLove it
ОтветитьI’ve been to Penn. As a tourist, I got lost. I panicked and to this day I remember how anxious I was to catch the train to get to my destination 😅 it was awful but watching these videos makes me feel better. It’s like lots of people go through a similar thing I went through 😁
ОтветитьYou made a good call on getting another ticket on NJT, even with the added expense which would have been really frustrating for you. Great video as always.
ОтветитьNice video! Can u do Brightline soon? My first thought for a comment is Why does Amtrak have to do this?
ОтветитьIt's great
ОтветитьNJT is always for backup if Amtrak is delayed
ОтветитьI didn’t know the regionals stopped at Princeton
ОтветитьToo bad you didn’t mention how small the tunnel in between the platform at Princeton Junction. It’s very small That is claustrophobic.
ОтветитьI remember reading an architectural review of the old Penn Station in NYC in which the reviewer mentions 30th Street Penn Station in Philadelphia as a comparison. (paraphrasing from memory) In Philadelphia one feels like a king entering his realm coming up the escalator from the train platform, whereas in NYC Penn Station one feels like a rat crawling out of a sewer. Really glad they built and you covered the new Moynihan Train Station.
ОтветитьAmtrak is outstanding they leave you out -standing at Princeton Jct
ОтветитьI work for NJ Transit
ОтветитьI can see why Amtrak wants too replace thier acs64s with hybrid units now
