Backed!
Ответитьi got on there display case. whiten 12 min of this going line i had joined this as hey why not. that said dam how the hell do your parts fit together so easily. always got little sanding and such to do on the omni display case and the 3d printed table as well. love to know what to tweak for better prints that just work.
ОтветитьMaybe i missed it but how much does the completed assembled case weigh? That is something that would drastically change my opinion on whether this is worth it or not
ОтветитьI wish I could print this but my printers never work
ОтветитьDay two of asking for box dragon
ОтветитьUncle Jessy! I need your help. I work for a company trying to get into the resin manufacturing business, specifically wax-castable resins. I'm having horrible luck with my creality machine and got the green light to purchase a new one. We just need a tiny build plate as this is for jewelry and dental castings. What's the best machine out there right now with a tiny build plate under $1000?
ОтветитьHow many rolls of PLA did it take to finish the case?
Ответитьcan you also print it without any theme? so if you want to use the suitcase for carrying other things?
ОтветитьAwesome case but I can't justify 60$ for files plus the amount of filament and time it takes to print... Very cool case though
ОтветитьGot into this Kickstarter almost immediately upon go live.
ОтветитьThis is a really cool design, although I do worry a bit about the weight of it. Carrying it out to the game store could be exhausting. Looks neat though.
ОтветитьA few real issues i see with this.
1) a drop would be devestating. Even with magnets minis would break.
2) the full cost of printing would be astronomical compared to buying other options isnt saving me enough to swap over.
3) the time for printing is somewhat nuts.
Its a really cool idea, but im very skeptical.
Very cool. I did get in on the Omni Case and love it, this although i personally would have no use for looks incredible.
ОтветитьAwesome job Jessy!!!! These look amazing. I backed the display case and love it., Took awhile to print but so worth it.
ОтветитьDid i hear you say dees nutzs 😅😂
ОтветитьNice review! Just pledged on the Kickstarter a few minutes ago. out of curiousity, what size nuts did you use in the case?
ОтветитьHow difficult is it to remove one drawer ‘layer’ when you need to get to the one behind? Do the dividers come apart while doing that or are they secure?
ОтветитьHow would this look using a wood filament and some stain afterwards?
ОтветитьIf the goals are already met why are the files not yet available for the backers (like myself)
ОтветитьOk the big one I wasn't sure about it until I saw the micro one
ОтветитьNowadays we pay a fortune to produce, construct and paint all ourselves! 😅 we are suckers, next we will be in the warehouse helping to ship it to our own address.
ОтветитьI want to know how much it weighs compared to the equivalent size Table War case. It looks like it will be very heavy.
ОтветитьDang man, yours looks MUCH better than mine LOL. Well done on this video :)
Ответитьngl, this seems like 1 hot car day away from being a complete disaster
ОтветитьWhat a waste of time, money and effort. You can buy a far superior solution for less. Unless it's printed in ABS you know it's going to fail at the handle or hinges at some point. And don't even think about dropping it...
ОтветитьNice video, I enjoyed seeing how it was designed and assembled. Would have liked to see you carry it by the handle and comment on that stability. The Omni cases are cool but are surprisingly heavy.
ОтветитьYou mention Nuts, bolts, magnets and metal pins in the video, could you share what you used in regard to that hardware for better direction in what I should get in preparation of printing this.
ОтветитьDo you have a list of the size of screws, nuts, magnets, and pin types ?
ОтветитьAbout how much filament did it take for this project?
ОтветитьThe Omni Display Case Felt like a scam for a long time, they took over 400k usd and delivered half baked files while offering little to no support and minimal communication
are you sure you should be supporting another project by them?
6-7Kg for the Gothic Space case means 4-5 for a case with no fancy layout, which makes around 60$ including bolts etc. A GSW army transport bag in MDF costs 50$ and it is fragile, what are you guys complaining about?!?! Backed
ОтветитьGod i dont really travel with minis. But i HAVE to print that case and find a use for it. Even if its just somewhere to tuck away spare filament lol
Ответитьdoesn't seem like the mini's are very well protected. Looks like the minis would get destroyed bouncing around in there, unless you cut in foam.
ОтветитьIts so satisfying dropping nuts into the openings lol
ОтветитьI’m backing this. It amazing for in home storage. But if you were to take it somewhere how well would the handle handle being handled? Lol, can you actually print it in basic PLA or do we have to beef it up with best material and perfect adhesion?
ОтветитьWar-ganizer uses much less filament. And is much more versatile. And zero supports needed. And not 150 prints. Or extra hardware.
ОтветитьThey never list print bed size on kick starter
Can this be printed on 150x150?
Ever since I noticed how much he says "run off" I can't unnotice it. Lol
ОтветитьI bought the kickstarter. Dang! Now I need a larger printer!
Ответить200+ usd for a very DIY looking and feeling case seems insane
Ответитьwhats the minimum size printer to make the big onmi case?
Ответитьi bet there is no File for this thing anywhere / :)
ОтветитьQuestion, all the inner shelves, my openings where sealed. In your video, you were able to just snap them together. Did I do something wrong?
ОтветитьHow durable is it? Can I really transport that without risking of it getting destroyed?
ОтветитьJust way too much money. This did give me a good idea though. I may make a box out of wood and slot the top, back, and sides. Then I can 3d print the dividers and shelves. I would have less time, and money invested, along with a more sturdy case
ОтветитьIt looks cool and beautiful made, but I don't think it is functional. From the looks, it doesn't look safe to transport the minis
ОтветитьI went to buy this a year later, Its hard to tell if it comes with all the different themes or not. Not willing to drop $141 on a maybe. and even then, that's pretty dam steep considering I'm paying extra for not knowing it existed until now.
ОтветитьThis is cool but 90$ for STLs is crazy, and it sounds very expensive to print on top of that...probably not worth it
Ответить
