I do a LOT of professional voice work and after having purchased a channel strip, I came across the Channel One and Frontliner. (Not as popular in the States as it should be and off my radar at the time!) I spoke with a Euro friend and he couldn't stop singing praises about SPL overall. This year I'll be upgrading to a new channel strip and my first test, (strictly for using with my spoken voice only) will be this marvelous device in the premium version with Lundhall transformers. I will be absolutely shocked if I don't love it having read tons of info now about SPL products. I LOVE the look, layouts and technology being used! Can't wait to try it out! THANKS for a great explanation of all the features. Your humble, down to earth style of delivery speaks volumes about SPL. Your "English" is great too! '-) Super job SPL!

I've been hunting for something to replace my Avalon 737. I always run a 416 and a U67 when I'm recording or sending Voice Over via Source Connect and having the 2 mic input to switch is really an amazing feature that I'm surprised no one thought of before. Being able to switch between mics for different read styles (hard sell or imaging, then to calm narration) back to back in sessions is a really useful feature. The Air band is a must have as well. I need to get my hands on one now.

hi spl. i have a question. i am interested in buying the channel one mk3 and would like to know if i should use it with a Neumann TLM 49 Condenser Microphone or would i be better off using it with a Neumann U 87 Ai? which mic would i be better off using the channel one mk3 with?
