I really loved the Pokemon Trading Card Game. That was one of my favorite Gameboy titles. Then again, Chaotic is a Yu-Gi-Oh nerd so he'd gladly play any video game based on a TCG. XD

Ngl on 1 ✋️ hand would love to see 100% Completion of Pokémon Conquest but on the other ✋️ hand that's not as easy as 1 may think...

Man, Ain't haymaker a hell of a deck, carries way harder than it should.

I played this game WAY more than a human being should as a kid, and have spent an ungodly amount of hours on the deck machines and building different ideas. The Genga-Zam and Mew deck definitely opened me up to my favourite archetype of deck, replacing mew with Kangaskhan and Chansey as free damage pools

Every time I hear that backlog-themed intro I wanna see CM play a Dragon Quest game on this channel lol. I think something like a Monsters: Joker Nuzlocke or Max Difficulty DQ3 remake video would be fun! And maybe get subscribers interested in the series :)

First time seeing the tutorial DS game here, and why was this never made into a full game!? It looks so sweet. Reminds me of the Yugioh DS games but for Pokémon.

wind up loops vs hexproof seems like an odd comparison. Like geist of st traft was kinda whack but not format ruining

I hope you do a more normal run for GB2. Beating the game is trivial if you cobble together even a 75% build of anything that was remotely playable at the time. The GB games are much more compelling if you treat them like a normal RPG with progression.
Save the card completion grinding for the end.

Avoid retroachievements at all cost they treat devs like POS they’ve had devs leave the program they get harassed. It is an extremely toxic environment

Perhaps the game might have been more interesting if you hadn't spent 15 hours grinding g up the most broken deck in the game.

Wasn't 2011, not only was there the item lock and pokemon catcher, but also we had mewtwo EX paired with dce? Not only that, those cards had synergy as well as being able to play a supporter turn 1 (going first) which you could no longer do after the last sumo set.
