ughhhh their gowns are too long and their faces so small

I don't think the creators of Precure are putting much effort into the series and their characters as much as before. In previous series, I loved Futari Wa Precure and Heartcatch Precure because I felt like the characters' personalities stood out. Though, the recentish ones like DokiDoki, Happiness Charge, and Go! Princess, they just focus way too much on the designs and the beauty of the attacks. If you look at the first series, their attacks were basically black&white and multicolor, yet they don't over design on the costumes or backgrounds. The duo's designs were simple, and I loved Black's unique magical girl outfit. But, in this one, the dresses are extremely huge, and the hairs are just outrageous. Do they even try to make anything original anymore? This also applies to the new generations of Pokemon. Please, can we focus on great character development, relationships instead of making the show look as pretty and sparkly as possible?

The animation is done nicely, but the whole concept of that season is plainly ridicules and the costumes are hideous.

Tbh I find this is really lazy. All they get is longer hair and a really long white dress. I was expecting a different hair style at least. Extremely disappointed.
