over Checo is obvious because RB
favored Max,Checo prove at the beginning of his second year in RB that he could give Max a run for his money.
If RB would have been fair to Checo and he would have given a real battle to
Max, I'm not sure if Max could have won his second championship so easily.After they had 2 wins each, strange things started to happen to Checo's car.We will probably never know.

It always makes me laugh when Verstappen says he's going to retire. What else would he do? He has literally nothing else in life than F1. He was raised by an abusing failure of a father to do just one thing, win the F1 driver's championship. Would he fall back on all his charity work for underprivileged children, rely on his musical talents, go into politics? If ever there was a one-dimensional F1 driver it's Verstappen.

Let's also forget THAT safety car, and THAT breech of the cost cap. Two of those championships are tainted at best.

This years car is not really a Newey car. He stated himself in an interview that he'd taken a step back and that others on the design end had chosen to take it in a different direction.

Performance-wise, this car reminds me of the Brawn BGP 001.
Even the Williams FW19, born in similar circumstances (last Newey design before he left, unbeatable at the very start, two other teams making great progress with upgrades during the year), didn't end up as outclassed by the end of the season.
