Is the BM036 clamp meter going to go back into stock soon?
ОтветитьVictron is a lot quicker.
ОтветитьAhh the solar data rabbit hole. I've recently fallen down this one as well. Just completed the installation of 1200 watts of panels and 600ah of LifeP04 batteries on our camper. All Victron equipment which will give you every form of data you'd want. I currently use the inverter to power one of the mini-splits in the house while we're not using the camper.
I spend entirely too much time looking at the data in the Victron VRM portal.
About the inverter control loop, I think they can react that quickly, the reason they don't has to do with grid tie regulations. There are ramp rates specified by your grid operator to prevent instability (imagine if all the solar in the country tried to immediately resume full output after a grid failure, it would likely bring the grid down again) so there are ramp rates and ride throughs and a bunch of other specs dictating how your inverter control loop responds to these things.
Ответитьoh no, going to use the data to see if anyone woke up early on christmas day? ;p
ОтветитьI have been migrating all my monitoring over to a Home Assistant setup on a spare RPi. It is much more flexible in what I can do and monitor. I have not been real happy with the offerings from either Solar Analytics or the monitoring profided with my Fronius inverter.
ОтветитьHow good is it that there is a 4x difference between important and export. It just makes me want to consume every ounce of solar my system produces just out of principal
ОтветитьWhen completing solar will the battery click in to support?
ОтветитьWhenever you say EV, I hear EEV... 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhen you mentioned solar energy during the night it rises me a question. I made an DCDC converter from 24V to 220VDC about 500W. Do you know, how the solar string with 6 panels each with Umax 50V open circuit, so 300VDC when unloaded would behave when I connect my DCDC converter output on it like in parallel. If I apply 220VDC on the string which is 300VDC, does the solar string draws any current during the night? Found your videos recently and your work became interesting to me.
ОтветитьWow.. payoff for the exported electrons is totally not worth it at that price. Yikes
