Ive seen creatures here in new Zealand cryptids etc but not the patupairehe theirs actually different tribes of them some are blonde haired and theirs turehu their red haired theirs a story of an ancient war between the waitakere patupairehe and the patupairehe of hunua ranges in south auckland they are located in all the big forests around new Zealand/aotearoa
