To me I think this generation actually furthered the gap in interior quality between the X3 and X5. This seems like a notable step down compared to the previous gen's interior quality. I kinda like the exterior redesign but the interior of this generation is a big miss and looks really cheap for a BMW.

The M50 doesn’t look like it was placed on the car correctly…sometimes this happens..looks slightly off.

to be honest the exterior is fine other than removal of tail pipes on the regular model and removal of comfort access from the rear doors. interior i will never be able to get through with buckets of plastic everywhere. even forbes roasted the cheap interior and cost cutting. not for me with this cheap interior. you never touched the point that every one is complaining about no aluminium touch points / leatherette, completely plastic

Got mine two weeks ago in frozen deep grey, and let me tell you, it’s wayyy better in person. Drives better then my 2022 BMW m340. Interior isn’t as cheap looking in person.

I agree with you Boston Blog. I think BMW wants folks to go for the X5 if they want more luxury.

People are comparing this model with last years which had nicer materials.

I just seen the X3 In person at an event at a nearby dealership and it looks terrific in person. Regardless of what any says- the interior looks sharp. modern and futuristic in person. I think BMW did an amazing job with the new X3.

The most competitive automotive segment crossover suv all similar in size with 6 & 4 cylinder engines usually turblowed my word of the day Acura RDX Porche Macan caddilac XT5 Toyota Rav4 Audi Q5 VW tiguan to name just a few data mined infotainment center got to deep dive tin order to diasble like your cellular device

It's hard to believe that the handling can be so different and more agile. I understand the suspension improvements but it's also a heavier and larger vehicle than the previous gen.

Looks plasticy crap.. All aluminium details removed. On an upgrade I will go for X5, where Interior kept to a high standards

In my honest opinion, not a big fan of the smoother lines and rounder features in the exterior. The interior just looks "generic" and not premium... need some analog features. Full digital trend is not going to age well and dangerous for drivers going over 30mph.
