You think that the transportation dept would spend some of the taxpayer funds on fixing some of those streets.

ОтветитьNot jealous, not impressed, never envy. i receive my own blessings.
ОтветитьBig houses, big yards, empty streets - very depressing neighbourhood.
Ответитьwow white folks keep there neighbor hoods clean.
ОтветитьSomeday the 13% is gonna discover Winetka and Glencoe . Then what?
ОтветитьIt’s still Chicago!
Ответитьi absolutely love it, it's about time that somebody showed the other side of wealth in America other than the usual California, Florida, and New York.
ОтветитьI grew up in Winnetka, it is a great town.
ОтветитьAll that money and the streets are still F'd Up, cracks and pot holes. Illinois is home of the thieving politicians.
ОтветитьThis isn’t reality. It’s a bubble.
ОтветитьPOV you see your house in the video
Ответитьწყნეთი-საგურამო ჯობია 😂 ჩიკაგო ❤
ОтветитьEvanston video please
ОтветитьWatching all these videos because I’m thinking about moving there with my family next year but it seems so boring there’s no local business?
ОтветитьUsed to deliver for Amazon in Winnetka amazing suburb. Words can't describe....heaven
ОтветитьWho says money can’t buy happiness ? 😂
ОтветитьTruly one of the best places to live 💜
ОтветитьFascinating to think how absolutely corroded and destroyed our housing market is. As wage gains are crushed by the fed’s interest rate hikes and the country is bought up by venture capital firms, I know it’s not a sustainable system. The mass public is being priced into extinction as the pool of high earners shrinks, as we race toward extinction nonetheless. Nice video.
ОтветитьNice city.
ОтветитьIs it true this is a sundown town?
ОтветитьDang this makes malibu look like a middle class neighborhood
ОтветитьI always hated driving down Sheridan road too crowded too many people some nice old homes
ОтветитьHomesick cure
ОтветитьOak Brook not far from where I grew up is very similar money wise to this and so is Hinsdale
ОтветитьNo shootings in that neighborhood. Rich liberals don't go for that!
ОтветитьYou need to do this in Kenilworth during the Christmas holidays. They decorate beautifully.
ОтветитьLol! Does that church always keep Jake Ryan’s red car parked outside?
ОтветитьHinsdale or oak brook would give these houses a run for their money!
ОтветитьThank you very much.
ОтветитьSo you take a tour down Sheridan Rd through three of the wealthiest zip codes in the country and your video is 85 percent
sidewalk.
I rode my bicycle every Sunday right along that route (Lincoln, Pine) in the neighborhood of the "Home Alone" house (and The Community House) on the way to the church that's there when you get to Sheridan Road in the video. Of course, that was the late 60;s, but a lot of that is still familiar.
ОтветитьI was brought up in Winnetka half a block away from Lake Michigan and loved it there. Being so close to the lake Clement Stones' rich property you were allowed to go on the beach and swim and have fun when I was young but at 17 I moved on my own to Boulder, Colorado. I remember Kenilworth being very Racist and not letting Jewish or Black people in no matter how much money they had, sad.
ОтветитьNice tour of the north shore.
ОтветитьThank you for the bike ride down memory lane!!!
ОтветитьWhy the majority of Houses and Mansions that are of the Upper Middle Class or the Upper Class, some have Fences or Perimeter Walls and some do not and many Mansions do not have perimeter entrances?
But there are some that the trees use as fences
The house in the beginning being my house-
ОтветитьWhen I came to Chicago from Peoria, this was my favorite place to drive.
ОтветитьI love Sheridan Rd. Beautiful homes.
ОтветитьSince I make a quarter of the median income, could I buy a quarter of a house on a quarter-sized lot? LOL! I'm afraid I'd be like a Beverly Hillbilly, though. Beautiful area. I love older places like the homes there. Such character and class! And I just love the sense of peace there, as well. Sigh.
Ответить🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤❤❤
ОтветитьNever should have left Winnetka. Biggest mistake of my life. Thought Madison WI was where it was at then. I left a great employer, great job plus the connections I had if only I would've stayed. Regret Regret Regret 😔
