I look forward to your videos everyday Tom. My mom is dying in the hospital some 11 hours from us and your videos give me the escape I need. We are going to see her next month and we are also trying to sell her house as well. I guess you could say I'm in brain overload and your videos help me so much. Thank you for doing what you do I appreciate it. Driveway looks good . I have to do gutter work on our house ,but if it not raining its snowing so I guess it will have to wait until spring. Take care and catch you on your next part.

That deck reminds me of a mower I had back in the 1980's. After years of mowing, the thin deck cracked around the support brackets. I made two flat plates out of some 1/8 inch steel, and welded them to the deck, covering the entire cracked area. That ended the cracking problem. I gave the tractor to a friend. Eventually, the engine went out, so he sold it to someone who intended to repair it. Hurricane Katrina got my welding machine, so I bought a 120 volt mig unit, and a roll of flux cored welding wire. I wonder how they get that shielding flux inside that tiny wire? Those wire feed welding machines enabled the automation of welding. Robots can just weld and weld, until the wire roll is empty. That changed manufacturing quite a bit.
