I'm convinced people who keep complaining about the new animation aren't actually complaining about the animation, but rather the character designs. because there's no way they'd actually prefer THIS animation style over the newer one. I'm pretty sure if the creators had managed to replicate the old character designs to a T, no one would be complaining.
