Definitely a lot of fuzz to it. I dig it, but would be something I buy for noodling around, but not for chugs.

It took me a minute to place it but the sound of this pedal is exactly what my 15 watt gorilla amplifier fronted by a DigiTech fx55b Supra distortion sounded like. In 1987. Joey's first foray into buyer's remorse.

Definitely more a vintage Sabbath/Pentagram sound or vibe on its own. Sounds alright as a boost or added to other effects.

Defiantly sounds more like a Big Muff or RAT

On it’s own it kinda sounds like when they put a filter over a guitar track at the start of a metal song lmao. Like I keep expecting to hear the whole band kick in and for the guitars to…not sound like that anymore lol

I played this pedal and I gotta say it sounds like dog shit to me. Could just be the amp I was playing through with it but I didn't like it at all

Should have tried boosting it.
I thought it sounded decent. But I also hate most "modern metal" production anyway. Outside of Allegaeon. Shit's gotta have some rough edges and pokey spots.

Reminds me of a RAT in some ways. Would probably do well for some dirty sludgy shit.

i feel like the really weird midrangey-ness is in part to it (probably) not handling low tunings that well.

I'd imagine it works better as a overdrive style thing with some fuzzy elements, kind of how you'd run a tubescreamer for modern metal

It sounds horrible, but maybe it would sound a little bit better if your "clean tone" would be really clean. Just saying.

It's more dynamic sounding than my Suhr Riot, although might have higher unity gain. I like it's
wide openness" it gives my amp when turned up.

I’m thinking it might be what you’re playing the pedal through. I heard one of these on 60 Cycle Hum and it sounded a lot better through a Fender Princeton.

I hear these are nasty with bass. Maybe that pedal on a bass in a mix with modern distortion on the guitar would sound interesting.

He's being VERY generous. This pedal is total CRAP!!... It's sounds very thin and does'nt have much distortion at all.. Do not buy this pedal. Worst distortion pedal ever.
