In the autumn and winter of 2021/22, I went to Slovenia to study at the University in Ljubljana for one semester via the Erasmus programme. This music video is dedicated to one of the best - if not the best - experiences I was ever graced to have.

Over the last few months I've written this piece of music that kind of describes my journey. It starts with the act of leaving my loved ones behind to go and fulfil my desire to travel, explore and most importantly not let this opportunity slip through my fingers as it was genuinely the last chance I had during my university years to go and study abroad. The song follows with the joy it brought me, and ends with me returning home and wishing that my memories never fade and will always remain as vivid as they once were, because it was truly an amazing experience. Erasmus is a life-changing experience for many, but for me it was not. I didn't go there to reinvent myself or to figure out who I am. For me it was four months of living freely, having lot of free time, sufficient funds to survive and a whole new country to explore. Having four months off from the everyday life which I'm grateful to have here, but which can also be quite exhausting at times. I highly recommend Erasmus to everyone - and I'm a living example of someone who really enjoyed it even as an introvert who doesn't really like parties and getting drunk every day.
