We had a suite in November on the Discovery and Reserve Class Dining was in the Skagway dining room. PS we also received 4 captain circle credits do to their promotion at that time.

Be sure to update your preferences and diet restrictions in your profile. If you have greater needs, call and let them know. Also, meet with the dining manager ASAP. Cruise lines will work with you, you just need to tell them. Some are 90 days ahead to plan. It is worth the phone call 😊

I used the DINE LINE and booked the 360 Experience for our June 2026 Alaska cruise

I have a Reserve Collection mini suite in June. I’ve been assigned to a section of the Skagway Restaurant. I don’t know if this is where all Reserve Collection diners will go, but it is fairly close to my midship cabin. I’m looking forward to trying it out.

Excellent idea about sharing dining options!! (Mari)

The one thing that we always struggle with in the international cafe is the lack of foods that are ok for lactose free diets. It's something we have asked Princess about on numerous occasions but never get a reply back about. There are so many things that are made with butter, cheese or cream it's a real nightmare if like numerous people you can't eat it, and the thing is soya or vegetable margarine is an easy alternative in the recipe .

Love this idea of what restaurants are available on each ship. We haven't cruised on Princess yet. Very helpful information!

We're heading out on MSC in 10 days, so we'll let you know how the pizza is. We can only compare to Discovery, as that's the only ship we've been on. . . . so far!😂😂

Thoughts on the new Princess MDR structure? I have only sailed once since the change to the set, flexible, and walk-in dinning rooms and I have to say I am not a fan. I sail solo and have no desire to meet new people while eating, so I want private tables. In all of my Princess sailings before the change, I never had any trouble getting a private table for one basically at the time I wanted. My last cruise I tried to reserve a private table for 1 in the flexible dining room for the nights that I didn't already have other dining plans. Sadly, there were no openings available. No problem, that is what walk-up is for. Not really. I went to the walk-up one and they didn't have any openings. What they did was walk me down to the traditional MDR and sat me at a table for 4 that the people that reserved it hadn't shown up for. The next 2 nights I had specialty dinning. I was able to reserve a table for the 4th night. After that, I tried walk-up and once again I was taken down to the traditional and sat at the same table for 4 that was open again. The last night night there was nothing available and the wait was nearly an hour, so I went to the buffet. I never did make it into the walk-up MDR despite trying 4 times.

Discovery Princess is my all time favorite Princess ship!
For one, she has an O'Malley's. And it's open to the Piazza so people not in the pub itself still clap and sing along to the music. Always full to capacity in the evening with people standing 4 to 5 rows deep in the Piazza listening during performances. O'Malley's is THE place to be in the evening when you're between activities.
And Sabatini's is on the Piazza on deck 7. So during dinner there you can enjoy the live music from Crooners, O'Malley's, and the Piazza band on deck 5 with each doing a set one at a time in rotation.

Wish they would reinstate the non-Caymus Winemakers Dinner's. They were great. The Caymus dinner at $140 is just too much for us.

Allison….You’ve done another great job The 360* & the Chefs Table are always a must for me. Thanks for mentioning the beaded curtain as not all of the Princess ships have one. I’ve done the winemakers dinner once & they do an excellent job of explaining all of the different kinds of wines & a big PLUS as they serve the wine in the appropriate type of glass for that type of wine rather a generic glass for everything. I’ll be on the Discovery, February 1, 2025 for the Mexican Rivera cruise & I’ve shared your video with some friends on our cruise.

We have done several cruises on Discovery Princess I love the Balcony dinner the
Service and food is amazing! the Crab Shack experience was amazing also! Warning there will be an abundance of food with both of these options so be prepared 😊🎉

One other dining option, if you do the Sanctuary, is the special breakfast and bento box options they have available. Also, afternoon tea.

AS a vegan, I got a vegan menu every night in the main dining room. I always got one of everything on it. It was all very good, with the exception of just a few items. I was able to find lots of vegan options at the buffet and they were good as well. The Discovery spoiled me!

We absolutely loved the Discovery Princess, got off of it December to Mexico. The food was great and the staff fantastic.

They can keep those premium desserts…. Most have the ‘airy’ ice cream that doesn’t taste as good. Maybe I’m more particular as I live in America’s Dairyland and delicious custard ice cream rules!

I think princess changed the quality of cheese that they put on the pizzas they serve at Slices near the pool. They aren't as good as they used to be but still have a good crust with tasty sauce.

Try using FRESH FOOD
BAD EXPERIENCE AT THE CAFE. 3 sandwhiches I put in my plate, each 1 food was bad.

We get Princess travel insurance. Thankfully, our medical insurance reimbursed us for cruise medical emergencies, and we had credit cards to pay before disembarkation.
We have purchased private travel insurance for an all-inclusive resort wedding we're attending this year. Now we're retired we're thankful to be able to travel, and want to be reimbursed if not everything goes as planned.

This will be great as we are booked on majestic in April and can't make reservations at Harmony have heard its changing to sabotinis
have you heard if it will be open in April
