Dianne - Great video. Don't think anyone has ever done one like this. Very helpful if you have not gone diving separate of a diving course. We dive a lot in St. Kitts and learned the hard way on tipping. I had to ask the instructor who conducted my DSD. Your advice is spot on. Thanks.

It’s good to know that when diving outside of Europe, we have to add a budget of 15% on top what the dive cost. Ove here, tipping is not common. I mean, we tip when we go to a restaurant, but we don’t calculate the tip to be XX % on top of the bill. I feel that with this tip system, the businesses feel free to under pay the staff and count on the « grey money » from customers to pay the rest. That’s a political point of view and things are how they are, so once again, thanks for your very helpful video on diving tipping rules :-)

So what is the tipping custom where you dive the most? Is there a typical amount? And where is this? Thanks for sharing - it can be a great resource for divers!
