what about Yamaha. they are struggling too. You can just put the blame on a single rider for the whole company to fall apart.
ОтветитьDude, I'm from Russia and I really like MotoGP too, almost nothing is told in our language about the structure of a motorcycle and the like. I subscribed to you and I hope the videos will be just as cool)
P.S: I think Honda and Yamaha have a chance to return to the top after the change of regulations in 2027
It is about resources, when honda goes heavy into F1, there are not enough money to go to moto gp. Whenever they are out of F1, their moto gp teams generally tends to do well.
ОтветитьThe failure of Honda is the new aerodyamics, the kalex carbon fiber frame and the EU electronics., Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki is not expert with aerodynamics because of the different style of their bikes., Marc's said the balancing of their Repsol Honda bikes is hard, mainly because of the aerodynamics and the kalex frame. The MotoGP Dorna should allowed Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki to use Japan Electronics so that the braking mechanism will work properly, instead they introduce and use Europe Electronics which benefited the most on Ducati, KTM and Aprilla. Don't blame MM93 and do not believe on Cal Crutchlow he is just substitute rider and the data he said it is useless because the Honda bike is wild and weak in balancing. ✌😎
ОтветитьWhat a stupid, pointless video.
ОтветитьTip for you: If you see a Spanish word with an accent you have to stress that syllable. Stressing the "quez" in "Márquez" makes you look pretty bad.
ОтветитьGotta think outside the box. Too bad Suzuki left. They seemed to get it. Yamaha is getting there and helps to have one of the top riders. Not going to hold my breath for Honda. Puig needs to go.
ОтветитьLast time Repsol Honda was a MOTOGP race was the Spanish GP in Jerez 2020.
ОтветитьGemok...oh gemok..duit aku bila nak bayar?
Ответитьvery nice explaination.
Do video for yamaha also
Another aspect that allowed Honda to just let Marc's skill cover up the issues with their bike is how the constructor's championship points are accumulated. Unlike F1, MotoGP also has a championship for just the manufacturers, however only the highest finishing bike's points count (regardless of team). Therefore, as long as Marc kept winning Honda would win this championship no matter what. If all results were included, they would have to address other rider's concerns with the bike to win this title.
ОтветитьThe NR500 had a V4 engine with oblong pistons, effectively a V8 with the middle bit between the pistons milled out to make it a V4, designed and assembled by graduate engineers, hence the NR (new racing), did a presentation on it during my own engineering degree years ago.
ОтветитьHonda destroyed themselves by relying too much on Marc. Freaking RCV gets worse every year and only Marc can take it to win, especially 2019... If Rossi came from the "best bike" to "the worst bike" which Yamaha is not even remotely close to being the worst bike.. then Marc rode a bike since 2013 a stressfull, cancerous, unmanageable, untamable bike to win...which, I can 100 percent say better than Rossi ever could. Someone like Marc is once in a lifetime talent...like LeBron but they get hated so much, Manny Pacquiao, Jon Jones, Tyson, Ngannou... Must be assholes but they really are great and people hate it.
ОтветитьSorry but I gotta recommend you not show yourself on camera when making videos or wear a different sweatshirt- it’s distracting
ОтветитьGahahahaa just like rb
ОтветитьBottas did this
ОтветитьWrong, Dan. 54 seconds in to this video and anyone with real knowledge of this sport probably turned off. Honda are where they are, because of Honda. They're renowned for their evolution over revolution when it comes to development. Their changes at high management level have only made this worse. Spencer, Lawson, Gardner, Doohan, Edwards, Slight, have all stated this in their time with HRC. I'm good friends with an ex team manger of a Honda WSBK team. He said everyone he's ever known who work for Honda knows how frustrating it is with their refusal to see they have gone the wrong way. It is simply a case of them going further away from their goal, where others have gone closer.
ОтветитьEverything you have said misses a key topic, and this key topic stressess everything you have said, Dani Pedrosa, teared apart by HONDA, and developing a much better bike than a HONDA, the new KTM. Full stop!
ОтветитьIn brief "What happened to honda"? Is the same thing that happened to Yamaha.
Both Japanese teams were too stubborn culturally and locked in their ways, which stopped them listening to their riders by refusing to have proper European test teams to develop their bikes.
Yamaha did all their testing with sub-par Japanese riders in Japan, and Honda had Bradl but still only did development work back in Japan
Additional issues were that because they had amazing riders Fabio, Marc and Dani) they both ignored rider feedback because they were winning.
Marquez complained for several seasons even before his arm break, but because he was winning Honda didn't listen at all.
They didn't adapt the bike to Marquez, because Marquez himself was saying the bike was bad. (That season Marc got injured, they also lost all their top riders to injury at the same time in the same season at one point, because the bike was poor and riders were trying to over-ride it)
The other issue was COVID. Both the Japanese manufacturers development suffered harder during COVID lockdowns and somehow the European teams managed to sort their stuff off the track and actually improve their bikes on aero and electrical sides.
Yamaha only now are developing a new engine after being asked for so long, and Honda, they have so much work to do.
If they do it or not is another thing, as it's all redundant by the time the new rules come in.
Kawasaki have made the same mistake with Jonathan Rea - because he was dominant, they failed to develop the bike and whilst every other manufacturer made improvements, Kawasaki sat on their arse!
ОтветитьHONDA HAS THE WEAKEST ENGINEERING IN MOTOGP FOR THE LAST DECADE . ONLY MM93 SKILL GOT THEM ANY WINS
ОтветитьNaahh, this is bullshit. What about Yamaha?
All japanese bike are just rubbish.
They were so dominant until they forgot to keep developing the bike.
Rossi, JL, MM, and a lot of other riders had complained about the bike for years. At that time, all european were like current Japanese bike and not fully developed.. Until now.
Japanese manufacturer didnt listen, until European bike came to break their arrogancy. But it was too late. Japanese bike is left far behind now by European bike
None of us could ride good enough to discover why it has problems
Ответитьnow we know how good mm are that honda so bad
ОтветитьCommittees . . . say no more.
ОтветитьGood. Thanks.
ОтветитьHopefully they will back again..
ОтветитьThe problem you addressed is not HONDA Specific Its The JAPANESE Problem It may be electronics, Cars Or Bikes, Innovating, moving forward crashing and burning and going building back up its everything that Japanese manufactures Believe "Going Against THEIR" Culture
ОтветитьThey may have a chance in 2027 with new regulations
ОтветитьMM is as dangerous a rider as those "squiggly lines" no one can interpret. That's the reason for the surgeries and downtime. I draw the line at him compromising the safety of the other riders, which he does regularly. I hope it is not the case, but he is absolutely on the path to becoming the next Simoncelli with his reckless ways.
ОтветитьThis sounds like the "what if" version of Toyota in F1. If Toyota had turned into a race-winning outfit this feels like the story of what would become their undoing as the seasons rolled on and they eventually lose the top driver while not being able to adapt to the needs of whoever came in behind them. The endless meetings and perfectionism in a race series where innovation and constant, aggressive decision-making is needed to stay in winning form, not merely because of the driver at the helm who was taking the car to the limit.
ОтветитьIt's a shame Suzuki dropped out. The GSX-RR was legit, despite being the least funded factory team.
Ответитьits not just Honda , its pretty much ALL japanese companies , who rose during the "bubble" economy Microwaves that have buttons that go beep but dont heat .... telephones that beam signals to other worlds , but can even make a local call Baths that tell u how much water u have used but dont actually fill the bath with water ....light switches that take 100s of attempts just to turn on Complacency and a crap education system and social etiquette and I can tell you about "honda" meetings ya sit round and listen to an old man "tell" you what you will be doing OR he "may "listen but will ultimately decide what to do ,,,these dinosaurs NEED to be gone
ОтветитьMany people dont know that the japs were the victim of european mafia that controlled motogp/ gp 500. This mafia changed the rules n regulations to favour european brands and hurt the japs severely. Among others,
1. they banned 2 strokes engine, because the european didnt have strong 2 stroke engine. All teams were forced to use 4 strokes instead.
2. They banned the superior bridgestone tyre, and forced all teams to use the inferior michellin instead.
3. They asked honda to let dct use the superior ECU of honda. When honda declined the request, they forced all teams to use magnetti marelli, the inferior ecu of dct . This move had caused honda to loose the fastest bike on the straight titles to dct since 2016 onwards.
4. They forbid motogp teams to have 3 riders. This move forced dovisioso to leave honda to dct. On the other hands, they let dct to have 4 teams while other got 2 teams only.
5. Etc.
Danny Pedrosa on a Honda made to be used by all riders would not have beaten Rossi. So Honda made a Honda for pedrosa. Honda then made a Honda for Marquez. Absolutely I would do the same. Given MMs skill it is a no brainer. How was Honda to know that MM would get injured for so long. Lastly, coronavirus or something has affected the Japanese manufacturers. Yamaha is not doing well. The flip side is all the euro manufacturers are aceing it with their bikes.
So a bit of yo-yo with MM when he was sick, coronavirus, internal issues and euro bike power peaking. Europe really has the best talent? What is happening to the best talent in Japan? Why is it not performing?
They think all drivers like marq can drive honda
ОтветитьSo they are basically RB with Max, only building the car around one driver, ignoring the teammate. And when said driver inevitably leave, they are left with a car/bike no one else can drive/ride. When Max leaves F1, RB will be total trash because they built a car no one can drive.
ОтветитьYou forget to mention Alex Criville's title win in 1999
ОтветитьMarc was the wrong person to develop the bike. He intentionally made the bike as it is now by admitting to choosing the OPPOSITE parts that Dani was wanting to use. Marc was hampering the bikes development to hamper his teammate. Honda should have listened to Dani who has proven he knows how to develop a bike for many to ride, as been seen by the improvements that have been made on the KTM. Marc basically pulled a runner and left Honda so he can search for more championship titles.
ОтветитьVolkswagen Ducati is just outspending everyone. They are fielding more bikes, getting more data, and nabbing the best riders. The only team even close to their budget has been KTM - which won't last given their sales. The Yamaha was competitive more recently than Honda, and now they can't even get a whiff of a point either. Always love to see a cheeky Aprilia spoiler, but clearly no one is on Bologna's level.
ОтветитьMM93 is a poison chalice.
Ducati is about to have a taste of that soon.😆😆😆
the truth is one and not many know, neither you do.. (not trying to be a dick). The real truth is that Marquez compromised Honda on purposed but it went too far that even him couldn´t ride it anymore. Believe it or not it´s true.
ОтветитьThats all very interesting, but WTF has happened to yamaha then? Looks more like the Japanese can't do aero for shit, that's their problem, no F1 Data .
ОтветитьThats the Japanese way imho. Both Honda and Yamaha are in shambles, even Suzuki were going downhill before they said good bye to MotoGP. It seems like Europeans arent afraid of innovating in any way possible while the Asian bikes are stuck in the past.
But like we say in Spain. What a blessed problem! Honda knew they werent the quickest anymore in 2018-2019, but Marc was winning so... These things can happen, and if their star rider gets injured they need to be prepared
honda not develop bike like ducati..yamaha also..aprilia ktm ducati past them..look where is ktm before then now...where mm93 go he will be top rider event not win champ..
ОтветитьIf we go back in the history of HRC since they starts winning races in the MOTOGP championship we all realize that there was Jeremy Burgess behind it, with the Australian mechanics..... the ones that let Mick Doohan became a world champion and the same ones that let become Rossi the last world champion of the 2 strokes machines and the first with the 4 strokes. History tell us that HRC believed that Rossi was winning just because of the bike, that's why Jeremy and all the Mechanics left HONDA and they all approached the Crazy Yamaha Project back in 2004.... the rest is history (WELCOME 2004). HRC did not want to give to Rossi that bike, (RC211V) and treated him like a "a lightbulb"...... maybe this is just the Karma that HRC deserves.....
ОтветитьHonda gangsta until they downgrade to GP2 engine
ОтветитьHonda will be back very soon
