L have started to prep my food for a month or two in tin food and pasta ,rice from Brenda Langdon of Australia

I added 24 cans of Roast beef , Canned chicken, Soups and Tuna. Most of my preps are non perishable and I’m thankful I have 1 years worth of dehydrated and canned food including rice, beans and pasta. I’m set for major storms, power outage or food shortages . Thank you for your video . Stay safe…

Beans, rice, canned soups, hamburger helpers, gallon jugs of water, honey, peanut butter, dried milk, dried eggs, oatmeal. Don't forget about OTC medications, alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. Just those things will get you through a tough time. Canned meat is expensive but it gives you some protein. The hamburger helper can be cooked without meat and it already has its own seasoning.

well if your kid like chix soup before spend a ton of money maybe learn how to make nutritious soup at home not a garbage from can? just a thout but do what you like dont forget prep money for your health problems

Be watchful for pantry bugs. I lost ALL my pasta, flour and anything grain based. ☹️. Store as much as possible in frig and freezer.

Seriously, anyone with half a brain would have done this months ago. Failing to ignore the warnings is beyond stupidity.

I’m glad you mentioned the spices because I’m always telling my husband that so long we have spices, we can create variety when eating beans and rice for days on end. We also use the plastic juice bottles and stuff to fill water in any time we finish that item for our stock pile of water!

Thank you for sharing/encouraging! I've been on the fence about prepppinh told myself why wait... Plus even if just one of us gets sick/injured/etc it's not a bad idea to have extra things on hand.

I'm 64 and we bought out first fixer upper 4 yrs ago and I had always Prepped due to my Dad, not just growing up poor but like he said living in Hawaii " You never know when Longshoremen go on strike" and when economy flipped 07-08, coupled with the Pandemic, we bought a Travel Trailer ( paid off) in case we lose the house, we got a generator, propane and you can Boondock on BLM land, some places has 2 wks free stay then you have to move around and picked up books on how to forage for wild herbs/greens. I just finished up tonight 3 pans of Lasagna, 4 pans of stuffed peppers, 3 pans of meatloaf and cooked at least 50 meatballs to be frozen, I also take care of my 62 yr old cousin and make sure we also have extra OTC meds/vitamins. Between the drought out west, extreme weather changing conditions, supply chain problems (truck drivers), fertilizer prices and shortages, extreme money printing (inflation), we are heading towards BAD times...can you afford a $5 can of corn or beans or tomato sauce? we are well on the way there in Kroger the shelf price of "Progresso organic chicken noodle soup" is $4.49 other soups are as much as $4.79 per can. And according to Kraft they are raising their prices 2 to 20 % starting in Jan.

Corned beef is my go-to prep. It costs the same as spam, lasts for years and is delicious when cooked up.

Made a $30 trip to Dollar Tree ( still $1). Broth, pork and beans, pizza sauce, 3 huge boxes of Cheerios, candle, hand soap and of course craft supplies.😃

Order that milk online, by the case, pick it up at store. We have it in the store here, but I still ordered 2 cases. I buy it at DT also. I have a lot of it. Great milk. A new thing, like a new variant? Yes there is one.

I am an old-time prepper, but situations happen that will show me where I was weak in my prepping. After Hurricane Sandy, it was not enough generators to run all of our needs (did not run our well pump). The shutdown showed not having all the family watching the food inventory. My daughter used up my vegetable oil and I did not realize I had not bought oil in a year. I found that my family did not use the big boxes of milk once opened fast enough. You may like the smaller 8oz/1cup Carnation Organic milk better and there is always a coupon for them. Hope this helps one and all.
