Omgoodness😟. This is so bad. I feel for this family! I can't understand why the 3 strike law and youre out of chances was past but rarely if ever enforced! instead of getting them to serve time, the sentences are pathetic. If given a sentence, they turn them out because of over crowding. And these offenders-wheather1st time-or repeat, aren't forced to take the drug that makes them violently ill when they drink, or take drugs!! Plus, should be something installed in all vehicles that can detect they are not sober. Some vehicles have this. You can't even turn on the radio or start it if the presents is detected. Why not make this standard? I'm surely hoping for an outcome that might set president for other counties. They should be held accountable. So should the officials if they choose NOT to comply with STIFF SENTENCING!
A rapist, there should be chemical castration. We would be safer on an off the roads if enforced the laws for DUI'S+1 time kills also! But shame to legal system if they dont become stringent on this. Please, if you read this,don't come at me negatively.

Remember that no drunk drivers get anything more than probation until they kill someone, that’s always been the case. I get very angry to see all of these commercials ranting about smokers and the next few commercials are always glorifying alcohol and telling you what a great life you’ll have, they’re always having sales on alcohol and keeping it cheap but yes, let’s definitely attack the smokers because they’re out destroying lives on the road

HOW do these POS even get INTO this country, let alone get driver's license(s)? This particular POS had to have an interpreter standing right beside him, to tell him wtf was going on right in front of him. He obviously had no clue. Judging by his body language when he entered the courtroom, he realized the gravity of the situation. Trump said, last Monday, something I think NOBODY could disagree with - namely that this country has the DUMBEST immigration laws in the world. BUILD THE WALL !!! When are the politicians going to realize - most of the people DON'T want this garbage here in this country. Keep this TRASH in its' own shithole.

I am a retired paramedic, and I investigated/handled major accidents/fatalaties/ total losses for a major insurance company as well. My (years of) experience has told me many times that these drunks will just keep on drinking and driving until they kill innocent parties, or themselves, and the only thing(s) that will keep their drunken asses off the road is a LONG jail sentence, or their own death. In short, many experiences have taught me - LOCK THEIR ASSES UP - the longer the better.
The company I retired from had a "salvage yard" in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., that we shared with the 5 major insurance companies. It covered 12 acres, and it was always almost 100% full of total loss vehicles, parked bumper-to-bumper. They had an auction on the third Thursday of every month. Almost all the vehicles on the lot were sold to salvage companies during those auctions - that meant that the lot "turned over" roughly 90% every 30 days. On 1 occasion, I met a supervisor (whom I knew) with one of those 5 insurance companies. As usual, we struck up a conversation, I remember asking him if he agreed with me i.e. that there was evidence of alcohol consumption in 80% of those total loss vehicles i.e. empty beer cans, whiskey, wine, and vodka bottles, etc., etc., as well as drug use (rolled up $ bills, and cut off plastic straws with powdery residue, marijuana "roaches"), and so forth. I'll probably never forget his answer. With an astonished, incredulous look on his face, he said "...80 per cent? Probably more like 90 to 95 percent".. ALSO BTW, I saw body parts, teeth (not dentures)shoes, infant child seats, and God-knows how much blood (only some of it dried.) As I was typing this, I remembered a half-empty baby bottle - yes he was only a few months old.
I think most people, and politicians, just don't realize how serious this drug and alcohol (driving) problem is. My recommendation - stiffer immigration laws, and longer jail sentences for DUI convictions - for starters.

What i don't understand is we always hear pain pills and pot kills so many so we'll make it extremely hard to get but alcohol kills so many more but lets make it so easy to get. I wish they would band alcohol but no matter what they band people will always find a way if they want it bad enough.

Looking at adds for cars that have been designed and built for speed. The highest speed limit i have seen is 70. Do 70 on those roads and watch the cars and trucks pass you. How much does it cost to install alcohol sensors in cars? It wouldn't stop impaired driving but it might slow it down.

It was the father's 2nd loss of a son in a car accident. God comfort the family, give them strength to raise the babies (one was 5 weeks) & may they find some form of eventual peace. I think all vehicles should be equipped with breathalyzers & with our technology, it'd be easy. One in ten people driving is under the influence - disgusting!

Your message, as a Father, who has lost two sons in horrific accidents, hopefully stops many people from getting behind the wheel drunk. Sadly, most drunks walk away from these accidents after taking the lives of innocent people. It is so unnecessary in this day of uber & taxi services so easily available to call instead of driving. One poor decision not only took two young lives, but will forever rob their children of a mom and a dad. Why are people so selfish? That vehicle you step into intoxicated becomes a death machine. Be kind, think of others and how many innocent people you can destroy by driving while drunk. This father/grandfather did not deserve the pain caused by this drunk. His loss is heart breaking and forever.😭💔💔

Did the parents of the ‘culprit’ teach their child to drink alcohol, and combine drugs that technically alter perception whilst using a mobile phone? Situational Recklessness is what’s it’s called. Selah. Assets must be seized of parents who have taught their children this, as must mandatory jail time spent cleaning up at similar accident scenes where death has occurred and undertake studies to understand risk and consequence. Only when REMORSE is truly evidenced then should culprit(s) be freed and integrated successfully to a new era in their lives. OMAIN

So Sad 😞 why do some people insist on drinking and driving. It always seems that the drunk also come out of the accident unharmed theyre never seriously injured. Its the innocent that pay the price of the drunks stupidity. This just makes me so damm pissed it's a Senseless act of stupidity and selfishness. These young people had their whole lives a head of them with 2 beautiful children and one on the way. Now the 2 children are left with no parents they're orphans and one baby never got to see the light if day. Thankfully the family are taken the best care possible for these 2 children. It sounds like they are a great family with lots if love to give those children. Unfortunately nothing will ever take the place of their mom and dad. So so sad I pray the family members can find some peace and Justice for the lose of their loved ones. My Prayers go out to this family Im deepest sympathies goes out to the whole family. I'm so sorry for your Family. There is absolutely no excuse for drinking or drugged driving! I look back on My Horrible past and I used to drink and Drive. I never got caught and I never killed anyone or caused a wreck. But Thats NOT the message I wanna send. I deserve Jail time for my offenses drinking and Driving. I never got CAUGHT! That doesn't work for most people. As luck feeds it I never caused damage or bodily harm. But My family made me quit before something bad happened. It was inevitable that some thing horrible happens. We need to keep High risk offenders under control. If you know that type of person please remove them from the road!
