Don’t go to a bar with a gun…
ОтветитьI have a rule. I never show my gun. No one ever knows I have it. But if I ever have to pull win Because I will use it
Ответитьtx
ОтветитьI’m not sure that I want to get a CC permit as I’m not sure if I could shoot someone if it came to it. If it was my family or friends that were being endangered I’m sure that in that situation I could, but if it were my life only that was being threatened I don’t think I would. In fact if I did I’m afraid that I might shoot to wound and that’s probably not a very smart thing to do. I guess that I could go ahead and get a CC permit since it doesn’t require me to use my weapon if I choose not to, but it provides me the option especially if someone else is being endangered.
ОтветитьI like and yes all these safety metheds
ОтветитьI’ve seen so many cases where good citizens got locked up, just for defending themselves or their families. So I keep doubting if I should get a gun or not
ОтветитьThe dating community says to never brag in general because it simply turns people off. Those who try to impress are seen as lower on the social totem pole and in the case of a predator, an easier target.
ОтветитьPresentation very good. Most people don’t pay attention to these 3.
ОтветитьWhoever draws first will be presumed to be the aggressor, regardless of what came before. This frames an armed response to you, as a defensive action, if you drew first. Carrying should frame every action you take in public, and should make you more deliberate in any conflict, with retreat and de-escalation first and foremost.
Ответить„Don‘t brag, don‘t boast“! Yes, totally agree! Nobodys business wether I carry or not!
ОтветитьI don't like number 3. That makes no sense to me. There are countless places I would prefer to go and times I would prefer to go but would not without a gun. Example. I like to go out scrapping in dumpsters late at night and some shady mofo's pop up every once in a while so I will be much more willing to go scrapping at night with a gun. So there is 1 of countless examples. So number 3 makes no sense to me.
ОтветитьExcellent advice. Telling everyone and bragging defeats the purpose of concealed carry. Many people have a feeling of power when they carry and they want everyone to know it. Big mistake. Remember Theodore Roosevelt's famous saying "Speak softly and carry a big stick." Gun Owners: Carry a powerful weapon, and say nothing.
ОтветитьHaving insurance instead of a lawyer?
ОтветитьBig mistake is not having good lawyers and not budgeting $1,000,000 for legal cost. Also big mistake is not studying the laws and court cases.
ОтветитьWord to the wise
ОтветитьThank you Kevin. Great informative video
ОтветитьCould you please make a video about skinny people conceal carry when it can be seen
ОтветитьAll these concealed carry tips always feel wierd to me. In my part of indiana most people I know open carry. Some dont but the grand majority do. Even random customers at work. Freaked out some employees that moved from illinois because a whole bunch of people were walking in open carrying. That ammount as tripled since indiana went permit-less . Now not saying its the wrong thing to do. Its not. It just seems round here open carry is more the norm than concealed. At least in enough numbers that you notice anyways (of course theres an arguement I wouldnt know how many concealed there are and thats valid...but the number of open is ALOT)
Ответитьsupposedly 20 minutes ago this vitamin was going to be mentioned, however, there was BUT FIRST LET ME TELL YO9U OF ANOTHER BLAA BLAA. This turned out to be just another garbage video blown way out of proportion that expressed absolutely nothing. MORE VERBAL CRAP TO DISTRACT.
ОтветитьNYS law violates rule #2. When they ask you to notify verbally if there's no sign on the said business, you're entering
Ответитьso saying I'm ready to rock while twirling it on your finger is a bad idea?
Ответитьhad a friend get a piece pointed at him not that long ago because there was a line to the gas pump and he couldn't get through so he's swearing and decided to point it at my friend it's like WTF? Are people really this stupid and people wonder why people are antigun
Ответитьguns are an immense responsibility and only a free society that takes that responsibility serious can have them
ОтветитьQuestion: "What should I do if someone is crawling through a window in the back of my house, and I have my firearm available and ready?"
Answer: "Run out the front door and call the Police."
(My Instructor told me that I am NOT a cop, and that the last he heard, there is no death penalty for stealing a TV!)
What about the culture of Texas and barbecue guns there's a certain aspect of open carrying that goes with the outfit
ОтветитьShould be common sense but you have to make this video because some people are stupid.
ОтветитьThe fact that these 3 things need to be explained to anyone thinking about getting into conceal carry is very concerning.
ОтветитьThank you for your video help me a lot😂😅😊
ОтветитьThe principal to live by.
ОтветитьBe the grey man!! Love it!!
ОтветитьI want to see a video with the weapon is fully loaded. Dont clear it. Just be careful.
ОтветитьGun Safety Rules:
1. Never chamber a round unless you intend to fire your weapon.
2 Engage the SAFETY at all time unless you are ready to fire your weapon.
3 Alway´s point your weapon in a safe direction.
4 KEEP YOU WEAPON OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND IDIOTS!
Follow these Rules and we will all be safe.
I was punched once and almost got jumped by 3 dudes. I was carrying, and I not once pulled my weapon or boasted about it. I simply walked away. By walking away, I saved myself about $10,000 in lawyer fees and the hassle of going to court and proving my innocence when I could've easily filled them with modified RIP rounds.
Maybe it's because I'm a veteran, but the psychological aspect of having a gun is the most important part of it all.
Carrying a gun means you are now automatically a de~escalater. This means when someone bumps into you the only thing you do is smile and keep going, when you get cut off, brake checked in traffic you completely ignore it. If someone mouths off to you, you walk away. If the time ever comes where you have to use that weapon you are going to be put in the spotlight by the DA. They will want to know if you started the confrontation in anyway such as mouthing off, yelling at someone, cutting someone else off etc etc. if they can show you did anything except try to get out of that situation then you are going to have issues in court.
ОтветитьI am in NC and i do open carry and concealed...
Ответитьcarry a gun when i going for walks in morning the only scary me a dogs not people.😂
ОтветитьOne of the big mistake that people do. They have riffle or gun association stickers in their vehicle. Easy target for someone to break into your car and look for that gun inside.
ОтветитьThe city council member shouldn't of had his firearm visible/worn in an open carry fashion. It could give the wrong type of person to attempt to take the firearm from the legal owner. I open carried in Milwaukee when I went into a store to buy something and noticed that one person eyed my handgun and was following me around the store until I stopped, asked him can I help you with something, then told him it creeped me out with you following me. He probably was going to try robbing me to get my firearm. Seems sus he started to follow after seeing that I had a firearm on my person. Be aware of your surroundings and anyone following if you choose to open carry.
ОтветитьI personally believe your second rule depends on the audience and the environment they grew up in or the attitudes that people close to the audience member have about owning firearms.
A few weeks ago, I told my family that I wanted to get a concealed carry permit, largely in part because I wanted the responsibility of owning a gun, training with it (I'm 24 as a frame of reference), and heaven forbid home defense. The reason I wanted to have this discussion in the first place was because I knew that it would be a huge lifestyle change for me and wanted some insight on how to bring it up to them. My parents are pretty anti-gun, but acknowledged that I did have some exposure to recreational shooting during my time in Scouts as well as growing up with a close friend whose father was in law enforcement.
I didn't talk exclusively with my parents about this- against my better judgement, I also talked with some extended family about it as well to get a variety of opinions; ultimately, I decided not to get it now, (possibly at a later time). But by even bringing up the topic to so many people, I put a significant amount of my family on edge without even realizing it.
Don't carry in a purse..learn to wear...your purse is already a target !
ОтветитьCurious question, so I like the part where you said "Don't go looking for a fight." Let's say someone comes up to me and starts making threats against my life. My main instinct is to walk away and leave the area. However, let's say he continues to follow me, at this point in time do I have the right to pull out my fire arm and tell him to leave me alone? I am very new to this stuff hence I am watching your videos. Great content by the way.
ОтветитьTruth be keeping it real no needs to know you have a gun
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI’m glad I saw this , great tips for those first timers.🙏🏼✌🏼
ОтветитьI also never wear anything that shouts "I MIGHT BE CARRYING A GUN!" such as a shirt that says something about the second amendment, or the brand of a gun manufacturer. I dress very plainly. oh and yes, Don't go looking for a fight! I had to calm myself when I first got my permit because I felt rather tough, but that's the biggest mistake. Don't do stupid things you wouldn't do without a gun.
ОтветитьThat one guy walked into a bar and was bragging about having a gun? First of all, at least the state that I live in any place that serves alcohol you’re not allowed to conceal or open carry at all. It doesn’t matter if you’re drinking. You could just have an iced tea, but still, you cannot carry inside of a bar. Not anywhere that serves alcohol. That of course, eliminates bars. And some of the nicer restaurants that also serve booze. Basically anywhere that has a liquor license. You can’t bring your side arm. I use my pistol for home protection. I rarely take it out of the house unless I’m going to the range. It’s so restrictive as to where you can and cannot carry. That’s not even worth bringing it. You could walk down the public sidewalk and you’re fine. But as soon as you turn in and go into a grocery store, gas station anywhere now that you’re on private property, they can tell you to leave.
ОтветитьGood video and good advice.
ОтветитьGood and great tips. Thanks! Im SO glad Im a member of USCCA!
