I like that they made a video on how to conceal carry in your car, but only 1/3 of the video discussed this, and then the best way is really to just carry it on your person! 🤣

So don’t know why people use their vehicle as a holster. The gun is supposed to be carried on your person.

As a Firearms instructor I have to respectfully take issue with your statement about a gun discharging while bouncing around while in storage. Any firearm that would discharge while simply getting bounced around is not a safe firearm and is mechanically defective. All modern Firearms are designed to be drop safe and that includes movement in storage. I'm not advocating for transporting a gun in a glove box but I think you're giving misinformation around the potential for discharge.

I just tuck my pistol directly infront of where the seat belt locks in, or the less popular, under the rear passenger side floor mat if you don't intend on passengers. Floor mat keeps it in place and it's surprisingly easy to slip a hand behind the seat and grab it.

Most places to mount the gun shown in this video are really not safe at all. DO NOT put a gun where your knee or any part of your body can hit it in an accident. You dont' want your knee shattered in an otherwise injury free crash because it was slammed forward into your gun under the dash. Also consider flail injuries. What can your arms/head/legs hit if they fly around? This doesn't just go for guns it goes for everything in you vehicle. Think what will happen if I crash? What will happen if my air bag deploys? Where will that bag full of soup cans end up if my vehicle rolls over? Don't just willy nillly throw something on/under your dash or in your vehicle without considering crash worthiness.
