Bulova Devil Diver Orange vs Black Dial, Strap vs Bracelet, 96B350 vs 98B320

If I had to choose between these two I'd go for the devil diver 😆

If you already hai seiko then devil is good for collection.... But blue if you want a collection of same color and design watches in diff different brands

Do agree Kevin, the orange would be the one to go for. The overall design is too shiny and playful for a standard plain jane colorway. Unfortunately, as with a lot of Bulova models (not all though), these are ridiculously overpriced. Even if you find one for 400-500 on the grey market, i'd still feel like i was getting a rotten deal given the specs and the very very obvious cost cutting measures. Which is a shame as this is a pretty interesting looking watch.

Orange Orange Orange 666 DEVIL 🎰

I love them both…but the black dial would be most versatile for me. I love a loud dial but for this one I’d go with the coke scheme. They have these at my local Costco for under $350…might have even been under $300. I have a sneaking suspicion I got one for Christmas so I’ve been banned from watch shopping till the new year.

What are the diameter measurements of the bezels? The orange still looks big for its case dimension.

I tried on the larger one and thought it was too big but I really liked the look ended up buying the 41mm in the bright orange.

Love the orange dial version but wish it came with a bracelet. I got an aftermarket 19mm bracelet from strapco but it was very jangly and didn't really go well with the devil diver. Went back to an orange stripe NATO which works great.

Kodos on pronouncing oceanographer lol, nobody seems to be able to LOL, have the large one in that colorway and love it on my tiny man wrist lmfao. the smaller would have been better but didn't have money for the limited edition and that size wasn't out yet. i have a vintage accutron quartz devil diver from 1977 which is very small and have it on an alligator strap making it more of a dress watch. also have the chrono a quartz surfboard, become my favorite af all my watches. def a fanboy

Just saw the orange one with black strap in Canada at a jewellery store on sale for 700 Canadian, I have 7 inch wrists and the strap seems to be custom for this watch it’s butted right up to the case of the watch between the lugs and there’s no flex downward when it’s on your wrist so I don’t like that it sticks out from your wrist but I would have to rectify that with my own strap, beautiful quality watch.

In person I just can’t believe how bright that orange is, you wouldn’t need to wear an orange vest if you’re hunting wearing this thing even the deer will see you a mile away

1. You can "Back Hack" the black model by pulling out the crown and turning it slightly and holding. The second hand will stop. 2. The crystal on the black model is Saphire..

It's an interesting comparison, I'd take the orange version over the black one any day, but I have the green version which is both different and a bit more conservative than the orange?
It's a lovely looking and wearing watch, both solid, a great performer and also a bit different, plus no one is going to mistake it for 'Bolex Sub marina' type diver clone or a Seiko etc?
Yes it could be a better watch, but just show me something that couldn't be improved in one way or another!

Are you sure the cristal is mineral? on several sites they say it is sapphire

How can you not see difference in size at the first sight on these watches? At lest I would check the specs properly before reviewing anything. Really 'Wrong' time watch.

Can you get the orange devil diver but with the Silver Bracelet so you can switch back and forth?
