Three minutes in and we're talking about jews for jesus, im locked in
ОтветитьTheres a bobby broccoli video about nortel
ОтветитьWhy are you interviewing one of the retired Wiggles?
Ответить😮
ОтветитьHis dad is very much a dying breed. A generation of men who lived very interesting lives that they never talk about unless directly asked. Even then you don’t get much.
ОтветитьAs someone who grew up Protestant it was really interesting to hear her take on Protestantism as a Catholic.
I was a bit confused when she talked about the Eucharist though as we do receive Communion in my church, and we believe it is a holy act. Of course there are many denominations of Protestantism, but it was new to me that some don't believe in the Eucharist.
holy fuck this episode reminded me on how much i hate religion and religious people. sorry cant finish
Ответитьmy mind is blown
Ответитьi actually love this
ОтветитьIn Jreg's video where he showed the post ironic minion memes to his mom, I thought she was Irish.
ОтветитьGet northernlion on the pod
ОтветитьThis is like if the 4 parts of the political compass made a podcast
Ответитьi really appreciate the point his mom was making about how damn near impossible it is to afford a family anymore. very few among their generation will admit that. she was spot-on there
Ответитьthis is stressing me out i'm so sorry
ОтветитьI love how jreg has played as the anthropomorphic concept of fascism, yet his mom is genuinely terrifyingly fascist.
Ответить"You believe the sins of humanity are heating up the Earth."
It astounds me that I ever used to feel too embarrassed to openly admit that I'm an atheist.
It is a lie
ОтветитьThat election prayers did wonders I guess.
Ответить"And the thing is... anyway I don't know what the thing is."
ОтветитьJreg, you've been blessed with really good parents.
Ответитьshe is very very Christian
ОтветитьEpic jimothy cool speech bubble thumbnail
ОтветитьJreg's dad being silent and wise, jreg's mom being a strict catholic, and i'll guess Jreg was hanging out with artsy liberal kids as a teenager.
Everything about Jreg makes sense now. Jreg just wants peace, but all family and friends around him say they want peace and do the opposite.
“The only way not to sin is to not think or speak”………bruh😥
Ответитьevery question i could ever have had for jreg is answered just by his parents being caribbean
Ответитьi thought he was jewish
ОтветитьDID HE JUST SAY INTROVERT
ОтветитьJregs mom being hyper-religious makes a lot of sense actually
ОтветитьI realised I cant stand brogan. This person is one step away from being fascist.
Ответитьnerv shirt
ОтветитьIs the trick to getting conservatives to believe in the climate crisis just to lie and say god is doing it? We could pretend that the fossil fuels are “demon blood” and that burning it is releasing all of the evil into the atmosphere to make it too hot, and the only way to stop is to keep as much of the hell blood in the ground as possible and focus on using god’s sun and growing god’s zucchini instead
ОтветитьJreg's radical centrism makes perfect sense now after seeing his tradmom and chill libertarian dad
ОтветитьBRO UR HALF JAMAICAN? WTH😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьListening to JReg’s mom talk about Climate Change clarifies so much stuff about JReg.
ОтветитьYikes... and I thought American parents were unhinged. This is a new level of loopy cray cray.
ОтветитьVery little on earth is as abhorent as someone who just says, "Leave it all to god." Can you not see where that's brought us? It's literally insane and psychotic.
ОтветитьJreg's ethnic background was even more unique than what I imagined.
ОтветитьJreg lookin exactly like his momma XD
Ответитьhonoring your parents is a sign of wisdom! Never let politics place its wedge
Ответитьdang i agree with your parents way more than any political talking butthead. except im def not catholic
ОтветитьHabemus Papam 🇻🇦
ОтветитьYo, if you're looking for a new hyperfixation, I just got into the enneagram, and that shit is wild. It's like MBTI, but not dumb, useful for transcendental meditation, and secretly Christian. I'm telling you, dawg, this shit is tempting me with conversion. Hyperstitional a.f.. Izacho, the guy who first drew up the symbol, claims to have communed with the archangel Gabriel, or maybe contacted a suffi brotherhood in the mountains? The roots are unclear. Either way, new agers coopted it, and now it's floating around a lot of evangelical/Jesuit circuits. No cap, you're mom might be onto something. The spirit is at work. That and the algorithm.
ОтветитьThe "Chrystia Freeland" lawn sign is a wonderful touch
Ответить"You wake at 3 am?... And you pray for 3 hours stray?"
"Till morning"
I was not expecting this opening.
This is insane
Ответитьhaving a devotedly religious parent to holding radical political ideologies pipeline is so real
ОтветитьWhy are all moms the same? Anti woke, spiritual, obsessed with getting the message out there, "everyone has meaning". It's like once women become mothers they tap into some greater unified mother consciousness.
Ответить“I’m glad you think you’re so funny” she cooked you with that one
Ответить
