Tried to take this to an auto mechanic and they try to jipped the price to $500 for repair I was like the tf? Checked out this video and boom whole labour it's 🤣 hysterical how they try to rip you off

No, this is how to REPLACE a window regulator assembly, not how to fix one...

I've been changing these window regulators/complete unit for multiple cars and trucks constantly for the last five years or so.The cheap on line replacement units often fail in less than a year.Sure they are unbelievably cheap but pulling your door panels ect apart .Kinda takes a toll on them.Clips breaking, loose handle part's ECT.

What could cause my power window to stop working only on the passenger side? 2009 Corolla i was installing a door speaker and cut the factory speaker wires to hook up to new wires and ever since then my window switch and lock stopped working on the front passenger door

I just had a quote for 450 bucks to fix my drivers side window on my 06 Mazda. Ain't to way I'm paying that after watching this

Scotty, changing out 3 window motors on a 2005 Toyota Highlander, 1 front passenger and the two in the back. Are the motors interchangeable when it comes to front and back on the same side? In other words, Am I correct in ordering (2)same part number motors for the right side(front/back) and different part number for the (1) back driver side window?

Great Video but I have an issue with calibrating the window up function. Every time I close the window fully it re-opens about half way. It is like it is going into anti-pinch safety mode each time I fully close the window. Any suggestions??

Driver's side, on a 2011 Ford Ranger, goes up very smooth, no drag. Coming down... it stutters. Tried lubing the molding with dry-lube, but still stutters on the way down. I'm hoping I don't need to replace the regulator, but I can. They only cost about $40. But I'd rather not fix it, if it ain't broken.

After looking again...
I brought it down to the mid-way position, and grabbed the glass. This window has play in it, as it would teeter, from left to right. The passenger side... very little wiggle. Could I be looking at a loose or missing bolt? Putting pressure on the right side, while going down... smooth. Let it go... stutter. Your thoughts?

I have changed the window switch! It does not go up or down.
The driver side master switch doesn’t make it move either.
What can I do further on??

I have replaced the passenger window regulater twice. The driver side once. They all have broken the white plastic friction tabs. I think the problem is that when the window is up it is under tension. The tension puts spread force on those tabs and the hot/cold cycles lead to the failure. My first idea is to raise the window and then tap the down button briefly to unload the tension. Might get some wind noise. Any ideas on how to deal with the problem? Have done a video on it?

I changed the regulator and the window goes up and down now but not all the way up? About an inch from the top it stops. What did i do wrong?
