Goddamn, great video dude! Never even crossed my mind to think of things that way. Even if it's just a theory, I think that applying this way of thinking to your lifestyle and gaming habits will highly benefit you regardless. Well-deserved sub.

I do actually think that those game are really good at storytelling, I personally didn't have that much of a challenge with the game (besides some bosses) since I also played it with a friend of mine. The thing that I really like about from soft games is all into: 1 discovering the world and the lore, Wich is usually well written. 2 creating my own story based off my character, personalizing it it's just fun and the characterization (both in builds and in character creator) is actually pretty good. The 3rd reason is actually storytelling. The designs in souls games actually do tell a story by themselves and there is (very often) more depth in it. From soft did get right, very probably, what you said in the video about satisfaction and stuff, but I think that they deserve their prices cause there's also a REALLY good storytelling. For example ((it's one of the many) SPOILER AHEAD) all the cutscenes from the Godfrey bossfight do actually tell a story in such a good way that it stuck with me. I think that when you remember those moments where the game reveal itself, more then just "accomplishing a challenge" then the game have actually made a really good job with storytelling
