Nolan is overrated. Not a genius. Just someone who know really wells to play with those big toys!

You know it's a christopher Nolan when the movie is not only utterly engaging, well-shot and with a brilliant score but also evokes some of the deepest philosophical thoughts a movie has ever evoked in me personally. Nolan, while still delivering the blockbuster action scenes that appeal to casual movie-goers, encourages people to think deeper to unlock the mysteries of his outstanding masterpieces.

...if the female characters are used as emotional hostages.

You know its a Christopher Nolan movie if it features a dead wife, pretentiously philosophical dialogue, characters that aren't really characters and are just plot devices, an overuse of muted blues and grays, and rabid fans that'll tear you limb from limb if you don't worship Nolan like they do.

Love should have been included as one of the themes of his movies. Love is the core of the guilt in Inception, the core of the revenge in Dark Knight, the core of self sacrifice in Interstellar. Love is his strongest theme across the films.

you know It's christofer nolan if you’ve seen it 100th time but it still feels new

Given that CN penchant for time I story telling etc I AM CONVINCED that Mal (inception) and Brand (interstellar) are sisters and that Michael Caine is their father, hence they share the same world universe. Yes I know that one is Miles and the other Brand, but why would Nolan let Caine play the same character type in both films? This is not a coincidence and CN is far too clever to not think about this significant plot point. Be interesting if he plays a professor again in TENET which from the trailer looks highly likely.

People really need to stop saying a director is better than another. I see this big debate over Denis Villaneuve and Christopher Nolan alot and have to ask "Why?"

Both are terrific directors. Denis is a relatively fresh face and his works today in many ways reminds me of Chris' works back in the 2000s.

You know you're watching a Christopher Nolan film when he explains the entire plot, the themes, the messages and everything that a good film would leave nuanced and ambiguous, trusting the Audience to actually figure it out.

All of batman's appearances are in the dark, accept his last scene fighting with Bane as a metaphor of coming out of the dark pit.
