This is very wrong thing to do for collectors.

What is your recommendation from a website that sells sodas and shipping to the state of Israel 🇮🇱?

I just wanted to point out after seeing this video, I saw on Mercari this ONE same person has sold 5 Grinch Chase sodas, any guess where they’re shipping out of…? California.

Maybe the Chalice boss doesn't like you, because you push prices with your auctions. I don't think an employee with a scale did that, because 2-3 chases aren't worth the risk to lose the job. Funko is fun for you, but for them it's bread and butter. Welcome to the jungle, baby.

Never had a issue with chase there

It wouldn’t surprise me that a local shop like chalice will pick the chase and sell the sealed commons.

Can you let me know which chalice store you went too ?

I wouldn’t have bought those sodas in bulk unless they were sealed case but next time you know not to haha it sucks you got all commons

Never buy from Chalice. I've know 2 managers from there and they said you won't get the chase on their exclusives even if you buy 6 unless you pay the premium bundle.

There should be some open positions at Chalice by Tuesday. That's lame, sorry you had to be the victim here. Totally agree, though. Obviously weighed them out, took the chases and skedaddled.

Wow! That is insane! Ive shopped at that same chalice store before and I get sodas since sometimes they release early and I have yet to pull a chase from them. I don’t trust them now after watching this! Very eye opening

WOW! They can't chalk that up to crazy bad luck. 19 sodas from the back and no chases no way a coincidence. I only buy from a few places now for exactly this reason.

It’s their company they can do what they want. They never promised you a chase. You want to be guaranteed a chase buy a sealed case

My questions is how would they even know which ones the chase? Not sure I fully understand the outrage.

chalice sells online they open all of their cases and mix them up to make all of their cases random not random per case thats why they dont keep the cases sealed

chalice does mystery boxes is this location not doing those and they cant feel a differnt mold through a sealed can can they be weighed i mean if not then where is there a possibility of a chase i mean its the game we play i have bought loose sodas so many times bacause anyone close to me i cant buy sealed cases if i could then chase roulette wouldnt be worth playing

How would they know its a chase though? If the sodas are sealed

Hi Jim. Big fan of your videos. I can't comment on the Glendale location since I've never bought sodas there, but I frequent the Chalice store at Frank & Sons and have pulled many chases from there. From what I can see, they put out their sodas 6 at a time on the floor, so I'm assuming all are coming from the same case. Funko Hollywood, unfortunately, opens their sodas 3-4 cases at a time, and mixes them all up in one big pile, and my luck there is spotty at best. I don't think employees intentionally sabotage their customers, but some are more aware of how their actions are affecting the customers' chances than others, and it's important for collectors to be aware before spending their hard earned money, and speaking up when they feel something doesn't look right. The Grinch is a high demand soda and people are paying a lot for the chance of chase on the secondary market, so I won't be surprised if there was indeed something fishy going on with this specific soda.

No wonder I never got a chase soda from there. Not purchasing anymore from them.

I've collected many things over the years, and this store employee skimming has been going on for a long time. Ebay and other selling sites have made it 1000% worse. In the old days, it was people paying employees to skim for them. Now they are selling them on their own. Sad for collectors.

I use to buy soda from their Frank and Sons booth. I have bought several different sodas from them but have never purchased a chase. I always get chases at the funko store!

Someone is going through those cases with a scale. I would think there would be a slight weight difference with those chases. Good looking out Rock, but that was an expensive video $$$

this happened to me once with a different company(dont want to name them). when i asked if i got a case if ordered 6 and they said no, i knew it was not good

No people, we got scammed by Rocknrowe. All I used to hear was save this common, save that International common, put them away in the garage can they are going to be worth money one day. Don’t get me started with the chases! Him telling us which ones to collect, how valuable they were etc etc etc. What Tim was doing the entire time was what any good used car dealer does….puffing. Anything and anything to make the sale. I guess Funko sodas weren’t paying the bills anymore in the Rocknrowe household so he started making his own line of collectible “toys” if that’s what you want to call them and does some test runs selling them to his sheep 🐑 and low and behold they’re buying them hook, line, and sinker for upwards of $50 plus (suckers) Eventually he sells off all of his chases and dumps his cases on other vendors so he can peddle his acrylic figures full time and do podcasts with other toy makers of similar crap 💩 After all the support and $ given him he flush’s us down the toilet 🚽 I wish you success Rocknrowe in your new venture cause if you ever resort back to selling sodas 🥤 I will never ever buy another from you again. That’s a promise.

I know im late but how did you get scammed ? the sodas were sealed . Lets say they had 25 grinch sodas in stock and you were just unlucky to get all of the commons. The grinch soda has only like 2500 chases and the rest is commons so yes someone always gets like this
